Wet and windy here. I should never of had that curry last night... Bomb... Tish.

I'm in Scotland so we're used to a bit of bad weather now and again. Good luck to the folks on the south coast. Bring your wheelie bins in and look after your pets. I know my dog used to hate it when it was windy.

I'm on my postie delivery tomorrow, pray for me...

Get advise from your union man before you go out. Stay safe. Your health and well-being is more important then delivering the mail.

Guys, Travel for London just called me:

Apparently four buses have gone astray in the sky.

Serious fucking business.

In all seriousness, it's beginning, wind's whipping up pretty harshly!

Tomorrow evening throughout Monday night will see landfall of what they're saying will be the largest storm since 1987.

We're expected strong 80-90mph winds and torrential rain of 30mm and possible flood warnings.

Country has been placed on the red alert with the South to take most of the damage.

Prepare guys, and keep safe! This'll be my first time in the eye of a storm.

How much of the south is below sea level.

30mm per hour is not torrential rain unless you are below sea level with no drainage.

90mph isnt too bad just dont leave stuff outside.

Get some brews and sit her out.

I love how this thread is basically Michael Fish : The Role-playing Game.

Some slight gusts here, but it was waaaaaaay worse when I went out this morning. Calm before the STORM OF DOOM

C2c and Greater Anglia just pretty much cancelled all trains tomorrow until after 0900 going to be a crazy day.

Stay safe everyone out there. The number of Essex people on here still baffles me :)

Going to be some angry commuters tomorrow...

Yikes! And when they do start running they'll be absolutely rammed. There's just a general weather alert for my morning commute to Bath.

Speaking of which, I can now bring you the latest report from Bristol - it's a little bit blowy, but a pleasant temperature and not raining. We're all going to die!

I got night shift tonight, I wanna know I can get into work, and get home ok tomorrow .

No idea what it is meant to be like outside as have been sleeping most of the day

South East London GAF here, working up Central London tonight.

I think it has started here. The plan is to take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil ["Sorry!"], grab Liz, go to the Old Mill, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

"Largest storm since 1987" CBOAT going to drop some ultra Truthfacts?

Yikes, not looking forward to it though. I have a driving lesson tomorrow morning. Maybe it'll get cancelled.

Just going to stay at my parents till Tuesday. Outside looks icky
We had some strong winds near Cambridge but they seem to have completely stopped. Is it just going to get windy or will there be thunder storms?

Take a cricket bat and a cornetto with you.

Ah yes but if my perfect English lawn is ruined, I'm afraid all the tea and cucumber sandwiches in the world won't be able to console me

I didn't survive 87 by chance, I had to wipe my bottom in the dark, it takes pluck, pick up the chair and rebuild your life.
