Is anyone having a tough time doing ANY Coop?

I'm wired in, normally no issues (115/30Mb connection) but I do have NAT "2" or whatever it is in the network tests.

I haven't been able to do a single coop mission in actual coop - the matchmaker always just... stops trying?

On original PS4.

So, the
Alcatraz
side mission is impossible, right? The halls are crawling with guards and an alarm sounds which results in an infinite amount of cops instantly spawning out of nowhere as soon as anyone sees you.

Do you have to invite a friend or does it matchmake you to a random? I don't have any friends on PSN playing right now.

I got invited, not sure how well matchmaking works. I'm not down to play tonight since there are some other things I'd like to attend to but I can send you my PSN and maybe we can play sometime tomorrow if you're interested? I've got a headset so we can voicechat too.

I hated that one too. But I just used my drones, try to clear out everyone on the top and second floor using your drones, after that just run in there, let the guy out and escape on the window lift, after that there's a boat very close by the window lift. Easy escape. Even easier since the guy, the window lift and the entrance between the two are fairly close.

What missions is the AvP conversation. I hope I didn't miss it.

Its a mission called "Hacker War" I think. You are going against a Prime_Eight member called
Lenni.

Conversation happens when you are on your way to
take over the P8 bunker

Just finished the game. Really enjoyed it and though I can't remember the ending of WD1 I think this ending was super fitting and a lot better than WD1. Really hope future WD games follow this kind of tone. Could even have Marcus and the gang back, they are super cool and fun.

I feel like one of the skins for weapons and cars was sort of like a spoiler for the story in the sense that
Horatio isn't on the prints so I thought he was going to be a traitor but it turned out worse :(

Took me a couple tries. It I got it here's how
rc car for the key, stun the guy by the door and his friend down the hall free what's his name then do a black out/comm hack as you run for it, go around the dock to get a boat without being detected and your home free

There's a ramped rock you can drive off of in one of the more forested regions. It's the easiest place to do that jump, so long as you avoid the trees on the way down.

Thinking this is my GOTY, probably 20 hours in and barely played any of the main missions. So much fun, especially after getting some skills...

Fuck I love the cast of this game man, seriously, most relatable cast this gen since everyone is so genuine instead of pseudo hollywood's idea of relatable like TLOU or UC4.

Started the game this evening ..

I had a rough spot getting used to things but so far i like it

I just don't see the need for actuall weapons in this game, they should have used a variety of non lethal weapons ( stun gun is awesome )
Other than that .. i'm quite enjoying it.

He has a picture of her near where he works on the bench. Didn't even think about it for a while until that scene with him. From the uniform I thought the picture was just referencing a character from a TV show

Ubisoft Character reset reminds of Altair vs Ezio. Altair was boring and everyone forgot about him. Ezio was charming as fuck and got 3 games. Marcus and the crew deserve it too after Aiden.

Aw man, of course they had to go and (MASSIVE game character stuff)
kill the only other black dude on your team.
Dammit, felt like we were
bonding after that nudle mission
.

Game took a
dark tone
for a bit right there. Was odd going back and doing some side missions. Felt like there should have been a
longer sad scene or something.

Next mission seem I might get to do something in
space!
Should be fun!

Really liking it. At times I'm playing saints 3 mixed with bits of gta.

It's a good cast for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing them in a sequel.

Beat the game earlier today and am too tired to put all my thoughts down, but I really, really, really enjoyed Watch Dogs 2. Ubisoft got so many things right. I'm not a fan of open world games, GTA-esque games, or Hollywood hackers (unless deliberately played for humor), but this game pulled all those off together well. I was crazy enough to like the first game, but this second entry made me fall in love. I'll make a more detailed post later, but for now I just wanted to rave about how much I love the game.

I've only played the game for a few hours, but I'm already tired of missions designed around using the little RC car. The thing fucking sucks. Also don't like that if I try to stealth the mission as Marcus, more often than not if I'm spotted just once it turns into a firefight (instead of getting a realistic chance to escape). I want to try playing without getting into a firefight, but a ton of these missions just have such small areas with a ton of enemies.

Not a bad game, but I think I enjoyed Watch Dogs 1 more at this point. At least it had a story with a main character who, however flawed, had motivations and stuff (especially when it came to his willingness to kill).

This game basically gives you absolutely no narrative excuse to kill a single person. I still do it, but it'd be nice if the story lined up a bit more with the potential play styles.

Stealth is easy and fun as a "Trickster" once you get into the rhythm.

1.pick a hidden spot outside the mission area, but close as possible(if you can get to the roof the better"

2. Use the drone in vision mode to circle to look for vulnerabilities like vents, holes in walls or fence, keys you can hack with drone etc...
3. Move Marcus if necessary for your plan of entry.
4. Deploy RC car and remember that using enemies cell phones as distraction is your main weapon. They are completely blind when you set off their cellphone.
5 RC can hack & complete missions that Marcus can do in ALMOST all missions. I ran into two story missions where I did have to get Marcus into the mission zone to complete.

Lastly upgrade based on your play style and it'll only get easier and more fun.

Good luck!

About a character development later in the game. Spoiler obviously.

The death of Horatio came out of nowhere. Everyone was sad, but I had no connection to him. Didn't feel anything.

Minor Spoiler for the first part of Main Mission "W4tched"

I moved a scissor lift near the truck and sat in the corner of it, barely in the blue circle....grabbed all the data and no one spotted me.

It felt so good!

Yeah, like he was barely around. You spend way more time with the other characters. If it was wrench or sitara I'd have legitimately been choked up. I mean I'm glad it wasn't but yeah, poor execution

On original PS4.

You should open some ports to get NAT 1.

The tone shift during Eye for an Eye is really jarring

Not sure how I feel

That's the point, I guess.
They've been clowning through this whole thing and suddenly life comes crashing down on them, hard.

Anyway, only mission that made me break my "no kill" rule. No mercy.

I feel like this is the sleep AAA game of the year. I'm just did the Nudle mission and at this point I'm enjoying it more than GTA V. If I told myself that a month ago I'd have called myself a goddamn lier. So good.

Actually the main story progression shows a real evolution, from fun operation to doubt & serious challenges until they grow up and finally become hacktivists

Just did the burning man inspired mission. How far into the story am I ? Ubi club says 8 hrs and 40 percent in (done ALOT of sidequests)

I am hoping at least another 20 hrs

The car control is so OP. My first reaction in any stealth area is to have all the cars run over all the enemies and then use objects to blow up the remaining ones and then waltz in and finish off any stragglers with stun gun/melee. It's really fun though!

The best is when all the cars going chaotic causes one to explode setting off a chain reaction blowing up everything and everyone and then you just walk right in.

Endgame:
I tried to do Wrench's part like 10 times until I gave up and hid over in the bushes and called in nonstop gang attacks until it was thinned out. Kind of a letdown to have infinite grenades and it be so suicidal to use them.

Now imagine if you were doing a non lethal playthrough!

I'm ranked diamond, master and silver in the three MP modes but it still wont give me the christmas sweater, what gives

... "Not the game"? :p
