Very well done comparisons. Is the game really that dark on the PS3 though? It looks like you might be running the full RGB range where only limited is supported by your equipment. Maybe it's just that dark though?

To be honest, the harsher, more dramatic lighting of the PS3 version during cutscenes looks somewhat better at times. Going with PC version when I get it, but that is something I had to point out.

just looked at the list with all the game versions and "digital deluxe Edition" and "Gold Edition" are not the same. I`m wondering why it`s not available here . Maybe they will update the store here tomorrow.

The pistol is 3rd from best when it comes to their star rating, with two 5* revolvers above it. (This is where the regular D50 sits but the gold uplay one is just a reskin of it). So pretty good actually. That being said I haven't actually used it much myself as I'm still rockin' the Specs Ops 1911 due to the added silencer.
As for the Papavero, this appears to match the other top of the line performance cars in terms of stats, or at least the ones I've got on my app atm. It's a sweet ride and it's nice to be able to call but I wouldn't say it made the game easy once you start using it or anything as you can just as easy steal another car off the street with stats just as good.

It's not bad at all for me. Only noticed one slight drop when I detonated a row of 8 ieds under a large convoy.

Yeah, also this, when it autosaves it does a little stutter.

Keep in mind that the Gold Edition is simply the game and the season pass packaged together. You can pre-order the standard game and buy the season pass separately to get the exact same content.

Looks like a lot more stuff is available on the gold edition. Regular psn edition is just an extra gun. No extra outfits for example.

Right, but all of the extras are part of the season pass. The gold edition is the standard game plus the season pass. The only extra that isn't part of the season pass is the extra gun pre-order bonus that the standard edition also gets.

I'm halfway done and it's getting good. Real good. More action than stealth and lots of explosions. Gun controls are so smooth. Don't like car controls but everything is good.

Solid 30fps. No dips so far.
Graphics are unimpressive but got used to them.

Bottom line I'm having a lot of fun.

That could be true. Maybe the ps3 is on Full RGB.

I really hope they fix the driving. If you scrape the side of a car while going fast basically half of it goes through your car...annoying bug. Someone had posted a video of it here but I can't find it ATM.

Basically half is obviously a hyperbole, but I know what you're talking about. I don't think it will be "fixed" though. It seems intentional.

There is no way to get a silencer on the gold pistol? Well that's interesting to know, thanks so much bro for the information. Also if you purchase a car once do you have to keep on purchasing it or will it be delivered to you?

I hope that there is something to do on the map.I really don't like when a big chunk of the game world goes to waste.This is why I like Saints Row series so much,there is always a ton of things to do along with buying cribs/properties and car tunning.
It was GTA IV weakest spot by far, luckily Rockstar did a far better job with RDR.

Guys, I know the following two questions are sort of hard to respond, but for the people that have played the game on PS4:
-How does it compares to inFamous:SS ?( in terms of enjoyment and polish)
- I'm also on a budget as of lately, and I have a Mario Kart 8 pre-order on Amazon, so for the Nintendo/Sony fans that have played this game, is it worth cancelling Mario Kart 8 for this game? I would had bought both but my budget is tight during these summer due to some college classes, so I can't get both. :-(

No, buy Mario Kart instead, this game will be cheaper by the end of june, in two months it will be $30, MK will retain its value and you can get alot of more of the multiplayer and unlocking things on single player.

Pick MK8 now and WD down the road.

-I think WD and Infamous are "incomparable" in almost any way. I loved Infamous SS and I'm loving WD, but they share only the idea to move all around the city. Overall WD is a lot more deeper than infamous while Infamous is a lot more brainless.

-Pick the game that you are more compelled to play right now. Both games will keep you busy for weeks/months so it's pretty hard to say what game you should buy first. Maybe MK8 because of Nintendo's price policy (if I remember correctly ...)

My personal opinion after three days : I like this game more and more.

There doesn't appear to be a way to add a silencer to the gold pistol, nope, or any of the others for that matter. I may be missing an option somewhere but I certainly can't spot one. You can however carry several different pistols at once though rather than being limited to carrying just one of each weapon type. That way you can easily switch between them depending on the situation and approach.
Also once you've purchased a vehicle you can continue to call it for delivery whenever you want without having to pay for it again. It's just a one time fee.
