yes the downgrade is real
Two different places with different conditions.
Edit: What an unwarranted bump.

Oh come on!
These two things are in no way comparable.
The game is at least looking as good as the footage that gif is from.
not even close. not a single video since the delay look anywhere close to that gif. they all look flat.
look at the debris, the wind, smoke, shadows, light reflections, volumetric lighting, atmosphere, rich and real looking NPC texture.
come on, take those shades off and look. look at it!
From the latest footage:

Another completely different scene that looks completey different than others!
if you pay extra attention you'd notice that you're wrong on both counts as far as what can be discerned through that imagelook at the NPC models they look so downgrade for starters.
#2 light doesn't reflect or bounce off their cloths or model.
here's a comparable ss.

How yall gonna spin that? same weather & time of day... seriously stop!
Wow... some people just don't wanna see it, do they?E3 it is raining hard and there are puddles and water everywhere.
In the other video there aren't any puddles and its not raining that hard.
Will the Xbox one and Wii u be able to handle these graphics ?
Wow... some people just don't wanna see it, do they?

From a complete package standpoint what looks as good as 1886 that has pre-release footage?
For all we know 1886 will get a downgrade, but it being a sony publish game I doubt it.
Which begs the question:For all we know 1886 will get a downgrade.
It's a shame that people's excitement for Watch Dogs is purely based on graphical quality. Am I the only one still intrigued by the game's premise?
Puddles and wet surfaces reflecting light is the biggest difference between the two. One has them the other doesn't.
We don't know if they're gone completely or that video just doesn't have them.

http://www.gamezone.com/news/2014/04/07/watch-dogs-digital-shadow-is-both-awesome-and-creepyInspired by Watch Dogs' focus on hacking and living in a "connected world," the website links to your Facebook account and generates a slew of information based on what it can find. Things like "what makes you tick" and contacts that can be "mined" for further information about you are on full display. It knows when you're most vulnerable, where you've been, and who you care about. It's both amazing and terrifying how much data can be mined based solely on your Facebook. Granted, not all of the information is 100% accurate, but it's a pretty good eye opener. And a fun tie-in to the highly anticipated game.
Watch dogs before downgradegon.
Notice the difference are just a few water puddles and different time of day.

1080p confirmed?on the PS4 version it will run in full HD
1080p confirmed?
Which begs the question:
Has any legit next-gen game (that wasn't crippled by cross-gen compatibility) seen any kind of downgrade between reveal and release? Should be easy to answer, I think the legit next-gen games can be counted on one hand. Look at Infamous.. it actually looked better at release than early footage.
I don't see any reason why The Order wouldn't look just as good as it does now. Unlike WD, it wasn't made as a PS360 game.
Sorry for the bump, but these videos are private.Ok guys, the new version with additional content is online:
