The 80ies have been all out amazing.
Everything was at its peak, before it imploded in the 90ies.

Nah implosion was in the 2000's, but there was still a bit of good. Really went down hill in 2010's, maybe around 2005.

90's was still great. Cartoons, Movies, Music, TV, tech was just improvement on the 80's and peak.

80s was great for being a kid. Saturday cartoons, playing with your friends all day and night, R rated movies marketed towards you.
90s was great to be a teenager with all the rap/grunge movements. Movies and TV got a bit more mature and riske. Basically if you were a teen/college student it was built for you with South Park/Wrestling/Jerry Springer.
2000's had a bit of the 90's spirit still sticking around but mid way through the decade it started to turn to shit and by the 2010s it was all over.

Really went down hill in 2010's

That is when I noticed it.

After I found out about Gamergate, my eyes were opened and had a rude awakening.

That movement was far from perfect (there were negative aspects to it that it lived up to) but the positive aspects really made me aware of all the terrible lies and manipulation by mainstream media and journalism in general.
