Yeah, I don't think SBI can change things the way some suggest, and the developers are the ones bringing them in to do theconsulting to my knowledge anyway. But any proposed suggestions of change do not have to be followed through.
Doesn't really matter if their suggestions are followed or not. Their involvement with a game is an immediate red flag to a lot of people and will fuel discussion around the game. You asked why people have it out for this game and I gave you the answer.

I don't know who Kim Belair is.
Ok.

I feel a bit bad for Anya Chalotra as she seems like a nice person. But if I was an actor I'd be a bit careful of which projects I lend my likeness to. Norman Reedus and Lea Seydoux had very good agents, but not everyone is that lucky.

Just catching up with this one… how bad is it?
It was horrible, even beyond what we agreed to be a massive flop.

According to SmashJT, one of my two sources when it comes to news about forced DEI in gaming, along with Endymion, in one of his articles, he explains that a man who worked with Reflector Entertainment as a cybersecurity personal who has long since resigned, confessed that that Kim Blackmail a.k.a Kim Belair is essentially, as most of us have known, a mentally disturbed crazed lunatic.

The former cybersecurity personnel for Reflector Entertainment states that Reflector Entertainment had spent essentially - you won't believe this - EIGHT years developing Unknown 9: Awakening. YES, his confession is not a joke. The developers of this POS spent eight years developing this DOA game that is supposed to be Kim Blackmail's "Masterpiece."

Here's the entire source if you want to read it ---> https://www.smashjt.com/post/unknow...poses-kim-belair-as-mentally-disturbed-crazed

As I figured, a bunch of talentless DEI hacks who have no business in the gaming world. If I were an investor who put money into this project and I read about what truly happened behind the scenes, I would be so furious that I would contact my lawyer and begin filing a lawsuit against these assholes - especially Kim Blackmail.

It probably seemed like a smart move. A big budget game backed by a studio who got acquired by a huge publisher, with a whole transmedia narrative universe planned around it. Sounds like a really promising opportunity on paper.

Give SBI credit for the grift.

For years, they took game companies for a ride with consulting fees, which ended up putting a lot of games and studios in the toilet.

And SBI lives on.

This needs to happen. The people who conned numerous companies into hiring them, only to burn them to the ground should be sued to hell and back.

This is why Steve Jobs warned companies from ever hiring consultant groups similar to Sweet Baby Inc.
Be wary of the people whose job is to find problems within your job. If there's nothing to find they will create problems.
In french we call that un "pompier pyromane" (a firefighter who's also an arsonist)
