I don't see why not? Ebay is not different from the retail channel these days - I bought my Paper Mario 2 as a prerelease from some ebay store - if there's money to be made, I don't see why not? (Especially considering these places will NOT have to pay tax but rather ebay fees)

Trust me. You will see the same with PSP..etc

You've really gotta wonder who it is that buys stuff like this off of ebay that'll be relatively easy to get at brick-and-mortars after the initial shipment. People in remote locations? The well-to-do who don't care how much it costs as long as they get it? Can't say i hate the sellers. They're making money where there's money to be made, and as long as there's buyers for overpriced items, they'll continue to sell.

As a seller, now isn't the time to sell a DS. It'll be the two to three week period after Thanksgiving. It's almost gauranteed that your auction will get bids then, unlike now.

There might be a lot of listings but the bidding is slow. Have a look...

Isn't the street date today? Why buy from eBay and wait for delivery?

Looking at a number of auctions in pounds and the notes mentioning worldwide shipping, I'd guess they're target screw is europeans.

A shortage of DS units means that folks who want them will pay a premium -- thus eBay sellers. I don't see what's necessarily wrong with that... most folks who tried could have easily gotten a DS by now.
