Even though I was hoping that the Fallout TV show Amazon countdown would lead to a shadowdrop of a Fallout 3 remaster or at least an announcement, I kind of assumed that we wouldn't be that lucky.

Well it didn't happen: "The countdown on the official Fallout TV show website, which ended on February 4, 2026 (the date of the Season 2 finale), was not for a new game announcement, but rather unlocked more behind-the-scenes content and an interactive 3D exploration of the Lucky 38 penthouse"

How could Bethesda not have any remaster ready to go for this season? The first season was in development in 2023 (maybe earlier) and they could get ANYTHING Fallout related released since the first episode dropped in April 2024? Not even a remaster. Sure a remake would take a while but they could have remastered Fallout 3 or New Vegas within 2 years easily.

BGS seems to be very mismanaged.

Brother, Starfield should've been a clear indication that Bethesda is no longer a development company. Just like Oblivion Remastered which was shit, future remasters wont be done by them either. If you really think the new TES or a new Fallout game will be good, you're delusional. These franchises are dead as of now. The show doesnt change a thing and it will also die after season 3 or so just like TLOU.
