i don't know, there are a lot of people who don't like the movie. i have let countless people borrow it since 2001 or whenever i first got the dvd and more often then not i get people saying "uhhh... yeah it was alright...." the kind of comment where someone is just trying to be nice and not say what they really feel (that they hated it).

HOWEVER! there was a time where i let my boss at work borrow the movie. i had let him borrow tons of other comedies and they were all a hit. but after this one, he brought it back and said dude this movie really sucked. one of the worst movies ever. so i said damn.... well what can i say, thought it would be right up your alley but i guess i just struck out. then a couple months later they started showing it on comedy central and he said he watched it a second time and then he loved the movie.

so i guess my advice is to watch this movie as many times as possible before you die
