I think it should take place 20 years later, there are fewer humans left now than ever, since a majority of humanity are gay and none binary they can't have children. Many more die as food runs out and the only source of nutrition are large quantity's of roids which are literally every where during the apocalypse. There's no zombies anymore as they got cancelled when one survivor accused them of touching them without consent.

However as humans become more and more dependant on roids, this creates a condition known as roid rage, where a bulked up human will grab a golf club and attack at random.

You play as Ellie's adopted half Asian son as he goes on a quest to one up his none birth mother and shoot every pregnant woman left on the planet and end the scurge of CIS normality in the name of revenge as his Husband was stolen from him by a white woman.

There's a big twist at the end where it is revealed that every one was infact gay all along, especially you the player. Then the son opens up a gym.

Ellie gets pregnant and wants to get rid of it, but has to travel to the other side of the country to get it done as for some reason that's where the only person who can perfom it lives. Everyone wants to stop her from geting an abortion so Ellie kills them all. The journey was so perilous by the time she arrives it's already dead, making the whole thing pointless.

- He decides to go hunt the person who killed her mom;
- The story heavily makes you feel that the cult leader was actually good (saves a baby dolphin in the intro, likes dogs AND cats, some flashbacks where she walks in the fields and smiles);
- Tons of characters of varying ethnicities are added to the story and killed in order to raise the stakes of the real story (which is about Diego and Abby).

Personally, if they are going to make a third game, I just hope Khal Drogo arrives within 10 minutes and massacres everyone who's left with his Dothraki hoard. The rest of the game is about the conquering and reunification of America under his banner. The Stallion who mounts the world.

ND has traditionally always made three entries into a series per generation with Uncharted 4 being the exception so things may have changed; but they did say it was the end of Nate's story AND we didn't get a new entry by them during the PS4 generation so there is that too. But I like your idea here. Take the story back to being about the cure and the cordyceps fungi. That's an area I want them to focus on but ofcourse I don't want them to completely remove the characters from it.

It has opened up and revealed some interesting aspects of Ellies personally her anxiety, confusion and anger. I dont think these things have been solved for Ellie. Though I dont not know how these things would be enough content for a new story Arc. Ellies first task after the ending of TLOU2 will be to find dina and there baby, this could set a premise for a new story if the baby ot dina were kidnapped or something like that.

Personally I would like a two part story where you continue the journey of abbie and Lev.
The other story would be Ellie back in jackson,where the relationship with Dina is on Rocky ground. You have to do daily tasks to do at jackson, but after a few months of doing jackson chores (about 5hrs of game time) a new threat comes to jackson where Abbie an Lev are involved.


TLOU2s central theme was that the pursuit of revenge never ends.

I dont know what the moral of the story will be in TLOU2.
But theres plenty to choose from.

Its a bad move from sony not to have TLOU3 straight into development as soon as TLOU2 development ended. Leaving stories unfinished sucks.
