What are the best courtroom sequences or games?

if he talks about books, you better damn well listen
Some candidates:

Chrono Trigger's courtroom scene felt super reactive at the time. I loved how innocuous actions you took early in the game could come back and bite you in the ass:

Neverwinter Nights 2 is mostly forgotten nowadays (aside from its excellent Mask of the Betrayer expansion) but the base game had a great courtroom sequence. Also quite reactive:

And of course, the entire Ace Attorney series is packed with iconic courtroom clashes:

What are the best examples of courtroom/lawyering gameplay, in your experience? Any particular Ace Attorney-style games that are worth checking out? Are the old Law and Order games any good?

Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel

Genuinely shocked that nobody picked up this IP to make a detective simulator. Sonny Bonds is ace.

In all honesty Chrono Trigger can't be topped for someone who experienced it on release. The game actually calling you out on your in game choices and making you realize they matter was an unprecedented 4th wall breaking moment that remained unequaled until the Psycho Mantis fight. (Which has not been close to outdone til this day.)

Judgment and Lost Judgment as honorable mentions (Yakuza spin-offs). You play as a lawyer/private investigator, so there's a lot of courtroom sequences. The one at the beginning of LJ is the crux of the whole game.
