What are the best 'Vampire Survivor' games out there?

I don't know what the game type is called, but Vampire Survivor was the first one I remember. After that, a ton of copies came out. Only one I played is Vampire Survivor, Death Must Die, and I just downloaded the most recent viral one, MegaBonk or something.

But what are your favorite ones, what's the worst lazy ripoff one? Favorite items that might not be the best 'meta'

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It looks like a modern Diablo game with survivor-like mechanics.

The Norse stuff is pretty cool, too.

I find that Holocure is the best because it's not too serious and cozy and it's free

I got bored in 2 weeks though

Others already mentioned it, but Halls of Torment is really good. Reminds me of classic Diablo 1/2, they 100% nail the late 90's 3D Studio look. They should do an actual Diablo clone IMO.

Tried this Early Access one awhile ago. Like HoT it's a little bit more active than VS. Awesome music, setting and graphics. A lot of artistry on display.
But it's thin on content atm, only 5-6 hours tops. There's a update around the corner.

Vampire survivor's ost is quite good btw. The Castlevania DLC has 50+ arranged soundtracks from the series.

Official playlist (not all soundtracks are available here):

Death must Die was pretty sweet. I'm kinda of waiting till it's done

that's one thing that's annoying, most are in a forever state of beta where its just one level or two. (at least when I start them) and then once it actually updates or 'finishes' its far past after I moved on

reminds me to install that on the Deck. I've seen videos of it and it looks pretty good.
once You upgraded enough, it will like shoot em up or specifically bullet hell, quite fun while it lasted. I was a fool, play it everyday and got bored in 2 weeks : ))

Gotta add this one, like it more than Vampire Survivors:

didn't really like Megabonk.
Ended up trying Ball x Pit, and that one I'm liking. The building part as a play a roundgate is kind of lame though

I'm so hooked on Achilles: Survivor it made me buy Achilles: Legends Untold even if only to support Darkpoint Games.

Army of Ruin is pretty good too.

I wanna try Yet Another Zombie Survivors next.

I'd like to find an easy or forgiving one on console, that can be made harder once the player gets used to it.

This is one of my all time faves, up there with Halls of Torment for me.

Although I just started Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and that one is really damn good so far.

Ball x pit plays a little differently since you're limited to the 'vertical' stage (plus the building/harvesting phase) but fuuuuuuuuuuck it's addictive

I played it 5 hours straight the day I bought it

Eehh Ball x Pit is just a fancy version of Arkanoid. Yeah you collect gems to level up, but it really doesn't feel like other Survivors games.

Another game that wasn't mentioned is Maid of the dead ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I grabbed Achilles Survivors on sale for less than $5 and it's surprisingly excellent.

I thought the building mechanic was dumb at first but it's actually interesting and there's strategy to it.

The graphics, presentation and sound effects are very well done.

In the upper right of the hud there's a timer for upcoming events, so you have something to look forward to constantly during battles. Smart addition to the genre.

Deck Verifed too.
