Every new generation has its trends, and much of that sentiment was laid against 90's rap & hip-hop and the subculture surrounding it at the time.I wish the whole contemporary generation of mumbling rappers could give this guy a good hard listen and decide if they aught to laser off all their dicky tattoos and take out the hair extensions and go work in a macdonalds somewhere
I'm not saying i totally disagree with you, but i think rap's general place in the "mix" in the 90s differentiates it, its performers, and their motivations, from today..You just have to come to terms that you're getting older, man. The Sundays, honestly one of the best live bands I've ever seen, they just killed it. Saw them at a small venue on Mission Beach in the 90's, shit I can't remember what it was called. The Dandy Warhols opened for them and they were cool too, this chick from the band was rollerskating around the venue before the show.
