what do you think of parents feeding their babies a vegan diet?

Veganism strikes me as the fanatical fundamentalist sect that had roots in vegetarianism at one time. I like vegetarian meals and occasionally don't eat meat for several days. Vegans make the matter very personal, intimate, and borderline-religious. Vegans avoid all food products that come from animals, and additionally they're also very vocal about their disdain for animal-based foods, including milk, cheese, and eggs.

I'm tempted to call vegans bad names because of this.

But I know from anecdotal evidence that children can grow up very healthy on mostly vegetarian diets, even ones without dairy in them. My friends are raising three kids on a shoestring budget, and vegetarian is more affordable. Meat gets expensive. Dairy is too. We've never had a bad meal at their house. Thankfully, these are vegan folks, though, so they're not thumbing their noses at us across the dinner table throughout the meal.

Your post is very interesting.

I'm the same as you. I like meat but sometimes I go for a whole week without eating it because I don't feel the need to eat it all the time. Salad, fruits, veggies are all delicious. Yesterday we ate a lot of meat during lunch and when we made dinner we opted for a nice salad (with no protein) just because we wanted to eat something light. That's why I think vegetarians are cool. I know it's anecdotal evidence but all vegetarians I met were nice people that weren't preachy at all, they just had their preferences and that was cool. But the vegans were insufferable borderline religious cunts and that made me pissed. The thing that pisses me off the most is that most vegans I know are fatties who keep eating imitation burgers and bragging about how healthy they supposedly are but they wouldn't touch a salad with a ten foot pole.

How about letting your child chose him/herself when he/she is old enough.

That's the ideal. Now if only the rest of the world would abstain until people are old enough.

Our indoctrination begins at a very early age regardless of who your parents are. It's on the TV screens and all over the web. The worst offenders are the teachers in the schools who have most likely taken that career path for the purpose of indoctrinating children in their beliefs.

Best thing in life is having tinder dates with vegan girls.

Watching them eating a couple of slices of paprika while you ordered the burger with extra bacon & cheese.
