What does pokemon ds need to have if you are getting it?

Well i've pretty much decided i'm already getting it because it's a new Pokemon RPG, but i'll copy and paste my ideas from an earlier thread:

- After selecting your attack (either normally with buttons, with the touch screen or mic), you actually have to "perform" the move with the touch screen, it could be a combination of things you have to touch, or you might need to drag your pokemons arm back and then move it forward again for a slash attack... okay that sounded really lame but I can't think of another example.
- You could use FLY to have your pidgey fly around on the top screen and look down on the land and maybe find hidden items and be able to see wild pokemon in the grass.
- You could select the area of your enemy Pokemon on the touch screen, like Egg Monster Hero's, and the attack does different damage depending on where you attack.
- I'd like to see 2 on 2 battles taken to a new level, with the 2 screens.
- The environment should play a bigger part in battles, maybe you could attack a tree branch by selecting it on the touch screen and the branch falls on your enemy Pokemon and does damage. Or if you're using a psychic pokemon near water, they could lift up a wave of water with a phsyic attack and throw it at the enemy.

It has lots of potential, I can't wait to see what Game Freak do with it.

The most important things:

- Touch screen menu control. Touch screen-only option for when it's convenient. Button only option, likewise.

- Ability to trade with GBA pokemon games by putting them in the GBA slot of the DS, somehow.

- DS upgrade included that will wake up your DS from sleep mode when another is around.

- Better graphics, new monsters, etc.

- Connectivity with Pokemon Stadiumosseum on the Revolution.

- No Online (It'll suck anyway, I don't want them to waste time on that)
- Only old Pokémons, but with new TMs and Techniques (like maybe a new generation)
- Color variation for Pokémon
- More animations in battle
- More Island/City
- Wireless battles (of course)
- Cutscenes

Why only old Pokemon?

I agree with the color variation thing. I want my guys to look a bit more unique when battling my friends. Well, the friend I have who also plays pokemon! Maybe they could let you buy Pokessories like dog collars or something for them, like how the games let you buy pokedolls. No, wait, I don't wanna see pokemon running around in little doggy sweaters.

A PokeTorture simulator. That is the only thing that would justify me getting the game and spending time tracking down Pokecritters. If I could then torture them with the stylus, I would buy the game in a heartbeat(and so would millions of tortured parents, aggrieved older siblings and teachers who just didn't get what the attraction to catching them all was if you couldn't then kill them in spectacular ways).

And no, this is not a troll. I'm merely responding to the thread starters question.

Different "voices" for each pokemon, instead of those garbled growl sounds.

Fully animated pokemon in battles.

Something new and interesting added to the formula rather than pokemon yet again.

Gameplay and story more inventive than travelling from town to town and fighting in gyms.

I would most like for them to evolve the series. It is still addictive, but I hate to see it so stagnant.
