What does Microsoft have for the first 9 months of 2015? Screamride and State of Decay(rerelease).

Dude, nobody plays videogames during the off-season.

Haha at the serious responses to your post by the way. Sometimes there are easy ways to figure certain things out...

Since you asked.

Tentative lineup:

Rime
Tomorrow Children
Dragon Quest Heroes
Ratchet & Clank
Alienation
Shadow of the Beast
Guns Up!
Persona 5
Disgaea 5
Killstrain
Drawn to Death
Fat Princess Adventures
No Man's Sky (first on PS4)

This. PS4 may not have vey big games like Halo but has many exclusives that are very good and it follows with very big games right after that in few months with UC4, SF5 etc.,

A bunch of multiplatforms games already available in other platforms. Oh, and a couple of multi millionaire marketing deals. And remasters. Killer end of the year if you ask me.

"Off-season was a mistake. It's nothing but trash."

And hey, as dejavu and stupid as this thread is, it's fun to both answer seriously and joke around at the same time.

Don't worry when Fall arrives.

I'm make a thread " What does MS have for Spring/Summer"

Hopefully Scalebound and QB!

To be fair Ori isn't an indie

Any game that is not an entry to a known franchise, or that is not a FPS-TPS-W.RPG is an indie...Haven't you gotten the memo?

Sony is playing it smart, imo. Why would I send my games to die when year's end is crammed with huge 3rd party titles that have always proven enough to carry a console?

Off season or bust bruh!

In all seriousness though, I couldn't live with a console that only focuses on games during the Christmas period.

I have gaming needs during those other 9 months too...

I'm pretty sure Sony snatched up marketing deals for huge 3rd party games to counter the fact that they they don't have any huge exclusives to offer themselfs.

Just like Microsoft has marketing for Witcher 3 and Hardline in a period where they don't have any exclusives.

Sony basically did the same thing last year with Destiny and I think it worked out pretty well for them. But this year they have a huge lineup of smaller exclusive titles which could be great, but they aren't really titles you use for big marketing pushs, except maybe No Mans Sky.

Just to be clear, this is about business and sales? Or is it about the games?
I don't know man, people seem to move goalposts mid topic: "yeah but it's all about the games, not sales! I don't care because I'm not a fanboy, only fanboys care about marketing deals and sales"
And then you have stuff like: "But will it sell like [insert game here] and [insert game here]?? I seriously doubt it bro!!"

Because I think we all know which console is going to sell the most WW this fall/winter/Q4.

Tbh i think itll be more fun to predict when the next "what does ps4 have for the holidays" thread will appear than go over ground that weve treaded over a hundred times already.
I give it a month before a similar topic pops up.

Hats made of money.
Eww, I guess now that they are betting more money on their PS division the expenses also go up.

Sony had Hardline, they just didn't use it much probably because of the delay.

please do it. A week later I'll make a thread "what does MS have in store for BONE these 10 months".

It will be like deja vu X deja vu.

Ratchet & Clank though. ^.^

Also, your post is okay if you're looking at it from a business point of view, but OP is probably looking at the relevance for him as a consumer and probably looking forward to what SCE has in store in terms of first-party games.

guys do you really think sony is snatching up marketing deals?

it makes MUCH more sense for Activision and EA themselves to come to sony themselves because of the big install base (especially compared to the tiny bone one).

Is this a weekly thing now? Did I miss the memo or something?

at least bi-weekly it seems

Co-marketing deals are symbiotic.

Sony wants to advertise the PS4
ActivisionBlizzard wants to their advertise their games

AB's games run on Sony's platform. They create co-marketing deal to advertise both in one ad.

Nah, Sony would never stoop to such levels.
Yeah, Sony is better than that. :)
I know these posts are a way to get back at the people who used to say that back when MS was sweeping deals left and right but every company is capable of moneyhatting stuff. When they have the money and means to do so you can bet everything on them buying stuff. Whether it's Nintendo Microsoft or Sony, I laugh at the notion that one of those companies would rather be the good samaritan standing on the gamers' side than to spend money to gain even more of that. While I don't agree from a gamers perspective I think it makes a lot of sense business wise.

Ugh has Sony announced multiple remasters for this fall? The only ones I know is the rumored Gears of War for the XB1 and UC for the PS4 (Also rumored)

What does Sony have for Holidays 2015[OT]???

Lets go.

We need to organize this. Who's in charge of the OT? When do we decide a clever tagline? Do we have a vote? Who does the 2016 thread?

I'm deadly serious. I don't believe Sony would stoop to moneyhatting third party titles. Why would they when they could invest that money into a new first party IP?

I don't believe Sony is above money hatting.

I do however, suspect they're more greedy in their expectations of a big-title moneyhat, and that they either want it permanently, or long enough that by the time competition can have it, the audience excitement would've moved on.
