What game are you currently playing?

Man I'm on the fence here.

Finished up with Silent Hill 2 Remake and now I don't know what to start - either finally tackle Baldur's Gate 3, which I bought last month, or buy Indiana.

I didn't want to spend any money, but Indiana seems really cool.

Play BG3 you won’t regret it.

PS5: Persona 3 Reload (October)
NSW: Super Mario Bros Wonder (100% completion attempt, currently on W4)

Mario Wonder is probably the best 2D Mario since Yoshi's Island, but that only makes it the third best 2D Mario.

iOS: ExoArmor (superb for pick up and play quickly)
PC: Journey (digging it so far)
Switch: Mario Kart 8 (booster content), Picross S4

I only have little bits of time here and there, and this has been a great mix. I wanted to get into Metroid Dread finally but it needs larger blocks of time that I’m fresh out of at the moment.

I started Starfield today and I don't know if I'm just not in the mood or if I'm over Bethesda games, but I was bored out of my mind. I just could not get into it. Maybe I'm not in the right state of mind. So debating on if I'll drop it for now and then go back to the drawing board to figure out what to play next.

As someone who loves Bethesda games of the past, Starfield is just garbage. I can pick up and play Skyrim unmodded for the hundredth time and have more fun.

The menu system seems a lot worse in this game, and I have no idea how to fly the ship. It doesn't seem like the ship even fucking moves unless I hit the boost. So I guess there's no point in manually flying and I should just use the menu to travel every time I'm in space.

And I didn't find combat very fun. The graphics were a lot better than I expected though for a Bethesda game, except the character models.

You've been waffling about a lot lately between new games. Maybe go back and replay an old favorite?

The Last Story (Wii/Dolphin)

I've been using my Steamdeck OLED to emulate the game. Graphic Settting is 720p and Anti Alising MSAA X 8. Beautiful looking game and I really like the character models especially. Battle system is a interesting hybrid of turn based and action based. You just go to an enemies and the character you control just hits the enemies. And you can use skills. I like figuring out how to use the seek command to take out enemies/bosses using their weaknesses against them. Music and voice acting is really good. Plot and cast is fantastic. Really like the romance between the two MCs. It's so far a fantastic game.

Any issues with Emulation? Yeah when I started the game and got to FMV Introduction Scene with the game title is when the music starts to go all static like.

Something I can't use the seek/crossbow button on my 8bitdo controller. So I have to switch between steamdeck handheld controller to be able to use it. So it's annoying since it's required to beat certain bosses

I'm around 6 Hours into the game and got to Chapter 15. There's around 44 Chapters and so far I'm breezing through the game

The game has it's tough moments though

Life Is Strange Double Exposure (Steamdeck)

I finished the first chapter and it didn't impress me. I found it somewhat boring. I'll eventually get back to the game and finish it but so far I'm just am dreading it

Ace Attorney 1 is done. Started the second game. I'm so glad I bought the trilogy. Not sure if Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is the same quality, better, or worse. I have no idea, but it's on the backlog, and I plan to play it after this. The only thing I know is that Great Ace Attorney comes before it timeline-wise, but I'm playing in release date order.

I'm almost done with the first Ace Attorney game, I just have two more cases to get through. And yeah I'm playing the games in release order too

Somehow I'm sucked into One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 on my PS5. (It's the PS4 version.)

I'm in the first mission where you rescue Zoro. I went through it last night but it didn't save? Hm. Oh well. I'll knock it out now.

I still need to play the first, but 2 is fantastic.
I would not say fantastic as a game overall, but the absolute chaos you can cause with the car hacks and calling gangs on people is a sight to behold, too bad the animations\collisions are far from gta with euphoria engine so running people down doesn't look nearly as satisfying (in wd1 feels better to run down people with cars but still no euphoria level).
And the pedestrians ai feels alive and reactive but waaaaay too random in how they react, still funny but it would be much better with more coherent reactions (and again when they interact with each other you can clearly notice the scripted animations instead of something more dynamic when they punch each others), ubisoft should pay any money rockstar ask to use euphoria in their games.

First one is way more serious, violent and with much better gunplay, but you don't have some of the new cool hackings.

A mix of the 2 would be seriously great in the hands of people who can wrote better plots and characters.

Too bad the brand is probably dead after legion.

Did you mess with the online very much?

There were a ton of modes you could play, but my favorite was the near seamless hacker mode where you had to hide while you stole another players data. I remember I would steal delivery trucks or industrial vehicles and people would rarely suspect me in those. Lots of good memories with WD2's online.

I don't typically like to replay games. I have a super large backlog, just not in the mood for most of it. I could go for a Metroidvania, a FPS, or platformer. But I really have cleared my backlog of all those.

I'm into winter now. Unlike Stardew Valley (unless they changed that?), you can still farm in winter, which makes winter more fun. I also bought a couple of chickens, mainly because the main story quest demands eggs. I've also reached level 60 in the mines but can't do the tablet quest yet.

Nioh 2
Onto the second region. Having a lot of fun with my build. Still using Dual Swords as my primary weapon but I've been switching my secondary weapon between various types. I've also started using some shurikens and poison damage.

Stalker2 - nice game which gives me lots of old school vibes....like dying a lot. :messenger_tears_of_joy: But man, the economy stuff and stamina and weight restrictions are absolutely horrible. Had to install a few mods. Now its way more enjoyable (and I am still dying a lot).

The backlog struggle is real, even worse once you get caught up it's like "...now what?" Do you have a list of games in those genres you played and which platforms you own? I could just throw a bunch of the best ones out there but might be better to narrow down a bit first.
