Just started Mass Effect trilogy. It has been at least ten years since I played, and that was the original releases. Spent half a day modding up the Legacy Edition.

I have the PS4 version untouched, but I wanted that ME1 lighting mod along with the popular ALOT textures/videos so grabbed on PC.

Sucked in instantly again. Fucking love it.

If you have Fallout 4 on GoG, then GoG simply installs it for you. On Steam you need to follow a guide to downgrade the game to a different patch first. That can be a little time consuming.

I bought Fallout 4 twice. I have it on Steam and GoG. The latter only for London and the former for the original with mods. Just wait for a sale in that case. I think there's Autumn Sale now on GoG.

Went through the first couple of hours in Cronos.

I'm a bit conflicted. The setting and main character are as bland as you could imagine and the plot is needlessly confusing so far but the game has prolly the wildest resource management in recent times. There was basically no instance so far where I felt that I'm not about to run out of ammo. This keeps the tension pretty high at all times.

So yeah, I dunno. A Blooper game through and through.

Not committed to anything rn but I do feel like playing games. A saturn is good for that so I've been hopping around the arcadey stuff just to hit buttons.

I head the original need for speed runs better on saturn than it did on ps1 which I found interesting, so I picked up a cheap one off ebay. Well it seems to be damaged! While I was able to play all three segments of the first track, any other track fails to load which sucks. Doubly because the first track sucks and is mostly a straight line. At least all the car history stuff works! That's fun to go through and I'm surprised how many lines from it I remember from way back when.

Just went through panzer dragoon 2 in one sitting. That normal mode goes by real fast...

Man you are in for a ride. I did the same as you at the start of the year, played the three games one after the next. Had an amazing time.

Glad you already modded it. The fix for lighting (MELLO) is a must, and I'd recommend the Miranda's buttshots restoration as well as the fixes for the Conrad Verner quests. Oh and check out the order of the DLCs and when to play them.

Those games are awesome. Wonder if we'll ever get something like ME again.

Expedition 33, about 4 or 5 hours in. I'm enjoying the characters, story, dialog, and voice acting. The world is beautiful.

I'm not sure whether I'm enjoying the combat or not. I like to feel as if I know what I'm doing, but I'm not there yet. Various aspects of the combat (e.g., pictos and lumina and how they interact and are applied) confuse me. Hopefully it will start to gel eventually. I've only played one turn-based game in my life, and that was Lost Odyssey 20 years ago, so that's part of my befuddlement.
