I ordered this same knife back in 2019 but ended up giving it away as a gift. Amazon had a sale recently so I picked it up again for myself. It arrives tomorrow. Most of my other cutlery is by WÜSTHOF which is an easy recommend. I do have some German bias though.

Cutco makes a good knife with a lifetime warranty. Hard to beat.

YOu need a good sharpening stone and that will help keep the blade sharp

bought it ungraded for £240. graded 10 was going for £750-1000.

and waiting for a seller to get back to me about this one. it's a graded 10 for £1,300. that's the cheapest one available. it goes up to £2,000. a 9 goes for about £950-1000.

Pentel GraphGear 1000, great drafting pencil.
You can retract the tip so you don't destroy it if you drop it, like I did with one of my Rotring 600. However I saved that one by turning a new tip for it, drilling a 0.5 mm hole (or was it 0.7? I don't remember now, it was a long time ago) in a small tube took some effort.

Got myself a new copy with my native language translation of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, and decided to buy another copy for my 90 year old grandfather. We recently lost grandmom so I though it might give him some solace (I was bit skeptic at first whether the reading is bit too blunt about death, especially) but he seems very pleased about it and we've had some nice discussions about the book.
