What have you just bought?

AJUMP23

Parody of actual AJUMP23
I am buying this Friday. I really loved the book about the Shackleton expedition. And I like Lego and boats.

Excited, picking up a lot of recent releases I didn't buy at full price this year or recently- Spiderman 2, Rise of Ronin, Unicorn Overlord, Pikmin 1+2, and the Demons Souls remake... on top of just recently getting the new Prince of Persia Metroidvania.. hype!

I wanted to spend tons of money on this year's black week deals in the shops of the Billion dollar corporations.

However...

I've been reading these forums for over a decade now, and I believe it's important to not take good things for granted.

So I bought NeoGAF Gold instead.

TBH the moment Steam will support natively ROG X with Steam OS it will be a perfect handheld.
It's a matter of time but I have to admit I got somewhat used to booting into windows and then going into ROG Armory. It's basically useless for anything that's not launching games but it works.

Once there's a native SteamOS installation for ROG X I'll be all over it though. Tried to install Bazzite but I found it troublesome.

yeah that's what it reminds me of 🤮
My other half likes her tea, so she needs a durable kettle that won't break inside of a year. SMEG aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for like with most electrical appliances. Her last SMEG lasted roughly three years before giving up the ghost.

14 GB external drive. I didn’t realize it needed to be plugged in to a power source (on this model) and I didn’t realize how much noise it makes. Even when I’m not using it, it makes these soft clicking sounds at random times.

Pretty nice being able to chill out on the couch with the wife while being able to play a good chunk of my library.
nice. if you're in the UK and are interested i'll send you the official dock to hook it up as a PC or to a display. i don't use mine. i thought i'd get into emulation and messing about with Linux shit but don't bother with it. it's too much hassle.

I just bought a new 14" MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip in space black. 14‑core CPU, 20‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine.

NeoGAF is gonna run so fast on it
