Sure some better textures and higher polygon counts are nice, but I mostly see more reflectiveness, shinyness, bumpyness, plasticness.

Not completely fair, I know, but thats my main impression.

Honestly I expect FFVII-FFVIII CG characters in real time. Hell, we are getting close now. It's only a matter of time.

Characters in fighting games (or other games with few characters on the screen) that look at least like the siren from a year old Nvidia's Nalu demo.

Unreal 3 engine to run at 60FPS in 720p with FSAA and AF.

Xbox360 hardware if not finished yet so thats why it hasn't happened. Even if it never happens though there is always PS3 and Revolution to deliever what you want:

Graphics are a given(at least ONE company will get that right out of the 3 :lol ), but I want better games. Games we couldnt play this generation, and sequels that truly redefine their predecessors.

Heh, I think the Dreamcast can do FF7 characters in real time. They be fucking ugly, yo. FF8 is getting there too.

After the XBOX 360 my expectations are pretty low. Hell, I thought we'd get Tekken 3 FMV-like graphics on the PS2.
