What is SCEA doing with the Destiny of Spirits Beta

OK so I've been waiting since I woke up to try the game and its 3pm EST and still no beta codes or anything. Asia has the beta and people are playing. EU the beta is on PSN for PS+ members. This is so unfair this is suppose to be a world wide beta open for 10,000 people and it is not available for PSN users in the US... I've been asking the developers on Twitter which is @dos_official_en and no response...

This sucks :/ Bad thing about it is not many people are excited about this game, and it might do bad because of the lack of availability, I hear from users there hasn't been any one in the leaderboards from the US.

Anyone from the US knows anything about this game availability or has played?
 
My Vita has been literally collecting dust, I dusted it off yesterday to get ready to play this beta. Looks like I just may lock it back up and let it collect dust again, until a good enough reason for me to bring it back out again.
 
I'm in the EU and we got the beta today. Had to look in the latest games tab to find it though. Even an exact ne search wouldn't find it.

It's not a bad game. I said nope as soon as I saw the video of this at E3 but it's bettet than I thought it would be. It's definitely worth a go as it's free

I think its a game that has a lot of potential. its not a Pay to win type of game even though you can buy the items with real cash, however you will still end up getting the same thing later on in the game.

I think the spirits and mythology of the game... And I like the global aspect where you have monsters in your respected country of spirits and monsters and you can trade. Which seems fun.

It seems like a game I could enjoy. It might be one of those cory but addictive type of games.
 
Thanks for reminding me, in the EU here, forgot to install this, checking it out now seeing as Batman isn't available yet (and may be too easy).

This game is really boring, I don't think anyone will miss anything if you have not play this game. If you want ftp game on vita play jetpack joyride for vita instead. Sorry if you want a traditional turn base RPG like game. There is just no hook to keep me playing with the boring and easy combat. Even digimon and robopon RPG have battle combat then this game. I like that you can summon Toro(the Sony cat).





I miss robopon, Sony should revive it to compete with Nintendo.

don't waste you energy /cash thingy on assist from others players(at the start at least) Just summon your own monsters and it will be good enough to kill all monsters with much damage to your party. Also you can summon a free monster from every WiFi point you are connected to (I think) I got a water serpent thingy which helps to reduce attack on one opponent.

I will delete this game tonight, just realized there is no trophies lol,zero point of playing now.(not that I care much for trophies)
 
Looks a bit interesting, but I won't really have time for this beta.

I'll PM my code to the first person to quote me...

Gee, someone didn't watch the trailers at all. I'm looking forward to it and I know EXACTLY what to expect. It's a game to play casually when you're on the go :P
 
So yeah, a sort of Puzzle and Dragon-style monster collecting/leveling game with some ATB-style combat instead of orb matching. This kind of game is a big turn off to a lot of people so yeah I expect reception to the game to be very mixed.

Seems reasonable enough. It does have direct monster trading between friends, which is a huge leap in user friendliness for this type of game.

If Pokemon were F2P, it'd probably lack the 'depth' you say it has. Just what were you expecting from this game anyway? Seems like this is for anyone with PS+ in the US/EU.
