I've tried a ton of different controllers, and this one takes the cake for me:

i really like the razer wolverine v2 i managed to find one a few years ago at a good price, but the past couple years ive been using gamesir controllers, they are very good quality and at a decent price (under 100 bux aud)

If I wanted to shake it up at all I'd change 5 to 3, and make 5 Dreamcast controller.

For everything that doesn't need thumbsticks on PC (I have an original Saturn pad, but a DIY 8bitDo Bluetooth motherboard inside). Worth every penny, and I don't have to resort to full clones that don't replicate the silky d-pad anywhere near as good.

For everything that does require sticks..

Absolutely dog shit battery life, but everything else is the best of all current modern controllers. Never had drift myself, so I can't comment on that.

I'm also partial to a DualShock 3. It's light, has amazing battery, and in recent years, has great simple software for Windows. No more MotionJoy bollocks that we had to use many years ago. Dinput, Xinput, SDL, you name it. Incredibly easy to use now in everything.

Funny enough, the Series X is my first Xbox, so I don't really have any nostalgia for the older controllers. A lot of people say it's very comfortable, so I figured I'd have a more objective take on it since I've never used the OG.

I've only ever had one controller, so I thought it was about time to pick up a second, and at this price, why not give it a try

I've been playing Skate with it for a few hours now, and overall it's great. The sticks feel really solid, and I appreciate the Hall effect sensors. Even though I never had an Xbox, I did have a Dreamcast and an N64, so maybe I am a little nostalgic for bigger controllers in general.

Well I think it's the "type S" Xbox controller as was referred and it was fantastic

The "Duke" which was the giant OG one. Well, it absolutely was too big and felt kinda weird. You got used to it. But the redesign was absolutely amazing.

I might need to snag that $35 little treasure
 
well, my opinion kinda bias toward PS controller since it's the only controller i used for last +20 years, last year i buy some button gadget for my phone which simulate xbox controller especially the way the place 2 analog, and i find that i keep missing button or analog when play game with that analog placement

I still think Hyperkin should have included a breakaway cable that lets it connect to an original Xbox. the OG xbox uses USB ports as controller inputs. they just rewired them and made them into a proprietary plug. so all you'd need is a breakaway cable with that plug, and maybe a switch to set the firmware into OG Xbox mode.

I would instantly buy these if they did that, even tho I had bad experiences with Hyperkin in the past.
