Yeah, should have noted that mine wasn't due to the lack of runways.. And the fact that there's a normal asphalt highway running right beside it. :lolNemrael said:I thought this: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=37.266312,-115.807915&spn=0.185738,0.253372&t=k&hl=en was Area 51, aka Groom Lake?

Probably something to do with the fact that the data seems to be collected from various different sources.-jinx- said:There are plenty of other locations which aren't blurred which would appear to be far more sensitive than the White House.

I think it's just that they don't want people knowing the configuration of the antenna(s) and missiles on the roof.-jinx- said:There are plenty of other locations which aren't blurred which would appear to be far more sensitive than the White House.
If those items are routinely visible, I don't see how you could keep ANYONE from knowing the exact equipment up there through means other than satellites. Further, I'm not convinced that there ARE any special items on the roof of the White House which you'd have to keep from visual inspection.Anthropic said:I think it's just that they don't want people knowing the configuration of the antenna(s) and missiles on the roof.
We've used satellite reconnaissance to try and find the trillion dollar bill, but all we've been able to ascertain is that it's not on the roof.-jinx- said:If those items are routinely visible, I don't see how you could keep ANYONE from knowing the exact equipment up there through means other than satellites.
