Fuck the haters
I got 600+ hours in ARK Survival Evolved, explain that shit
Think of it like someone you know who's visiting the same overcrowded beach every year, despite the city being full of other places and beaches to explore and you're trying to show him around but he refuses. They love the atmosphere and it's familiar with minimal changes to the activities every year so that friend keeps coming back. That's Call of Duty basically.
Cracks me up when people use predatory every time a game comes along with MTX in it. Just don't but that shit, or do then I get free maps all year.Nothing as long as you dont buy their skins and battlepasses and other predatory garbage. If you do, well then you're a fucking retard.

Its not like COD's hiding in a bush ready to jump out sexually assault you on your way home.
We used to play the original COD in our office building at lunchtime. There was one CD that we would install on anyone's PC that wanted to join in on the game. It ran pretty good on just standard office PCs. We had our own voice chat system by using the inter office phone system. You got killed, the phone on your desk rang, you had to pick up and listen to the trash talk, that was the rules. Good times.
MTX have their place. It cracks me up when idiots find ways to defend mtx's "bbbbbbut DoNt BuY it Then". Jesus fuck,
I like something you don't like, behave with your nonsense.Rats hated cod and now rats are the ones defending it even when it's trash.
We know why...

I remember the first time I played the original call of duty, it was at a LAN party and everything about it just clicked with me.. everything about it felt perfect.
COD still has that basic underlying perfect feel.. just they have tacked on so much bullshit it's no longer fun to play.
What makes battle passes and skins predatory in your view?Nothing as long as you dont buy their skins and battlepasses and other predatory garbage. If you do, well then you're a fucking retard.
At most, the blueprint might give you tracer ammo (which can be counterproductive at times) which you cannot unlock by playing.
^seeI like something you don't like, behave with your nonsense.
Never run tracers, in warzone anyways. Most times.. although I had those purple tracers on a grau in 2019 and that was quite nice
I mean I LOVED Warzone.. but the gunplay is broken..You can still stick to gun play and enjoy the show...
56 is a bit low, the campaign might be dog shit but the MP, well the parts that work properly, is fine. Most guns are weak shit though.Rats hated cod and now rats are the ones defending it even when it's trash.
We know why...

I've been enjoying MWII recently after not playing it for it's entire life cycle until Season 6 (the final season) but I'll be the counter argument.Hey I got a dub with my old COD buddy yesterday in Warzone. Seems we still got it
I know COD took a hit for a 3 hour campaign and all, but honestly this game is vastly improved over MW2. Some things I noticed about MW3
1. Movement is back and is king. Even more so than 2019's (?) orignal warzone. The game is even faster. It's possible again to outplay multiple enemies.
2. The Armory system is amazing. You don't have to unlock weapons and attachments in order anymore. Pick what's right for your build, including perks, attachments weapons and just queue them up to be unlocked before other items.
3. Progression freedom. You like Multiplayer...do challenges in it to unlock stuff. Unlock guns and equipment just by extracting with it from Zombies. A nice touch.
4. Persistent customization. Attachments not working so well in your match? Change the loadout on the fly while waiting to respawn or in the practice time prior to a warzone match. It's more robust than in MW2.
5. The battlepass system (though a funnel to microtransactions) still allows you to unlock things in the order your prefer. Adds some agency and allows players to shoot for the important stuff. To me this means respecting your time.
6. They got rid of the tuning system in MW2 and added a tooltip that allows you to see how much different attachments affect the feel of your weapon by percentage to specific categories. No more questioning which attachment is better. You can literally prioritize based on actual numbers instead of trying to make a bar go up and down. Fantastic addition.
I haven't even played the campaign yet. I plan to, but I'm in it for Zombies and Warzone mainly. No it's not iterative on COD...but it does go back to better days and then doubles and triples down on it.
To answer OP's question. Nothing wrong with liking COD. COD is actually pretty damn good this year.
Thats just a bad server. Happens sometimes and the other way round too. The longer TTK does exasserbate the issue some what.I mean I LOVED Warzone.. but the gunplay is broken..
you'll sit there and put 2 entire clips into a dude and not miss at all and they will just run up and finish you with a single bullet.
Man I loved MW2's campaign. You thought it was just ok huh? Did they have loadout customization in Warzone in MW2? I know they had it in Multiplayer. I suppose the movement is a subjective thing. I like having the option to move deliberately or more agile. I utilize both in MW3 warzone. I'm a fan of slide cancelling. Maybe because I play on M&KB...I dunno. I'm sure controller players utilize it probably better than I do.I've been enjoying MWII recently after not playing it for it's entire life cycle until Season 6 (the final season) but I'll be the counter argument.
1. Movement is slower than MW 2019 and MWIII which provides a more tactical gameplay experience. Slower than every other CoD but faster than Insurgency Sandstorm.
2. The attachment unlock system requires you to to use different guns to unlock what you want which I find refreshing, in previous games I would never use other guns other than what I liked.
3. Certain guns were locked behind battlepass progression but now since the game is done every gun can be unlocked through challenges.
4. MWII features this. You can change attachments mid match.
5. The only good thing about MWII's battlepass was that you could choose to unlock tokens that you could spend on tiers that you wanted instead only being in one certain order of progression.
6. Play Hardcore and you'll never have this problem. But weapon tuning itself is actually really cool and allows for even further customization for your playstyle.
7. The guns actually feel authentic for once with a ton of recoil as well as top notch audio.
8. No slide cancelling. You have to be deliberate with sliding and sprinting because you'll get killed a lot if you're not.
Campaign was just alright, much worse than MW 2019.
All and all I love how slow paced and tactical it feels. I won't be moving on with CoD for the foreseeable future until they actually make something impressive again.
I mean I LOVED Warzone.. but the gunplay is broken..

MP is terrible to me.56 is a bit low, the campaign might be dog shit but the MP, well the parts that work properly, is fine. Most guns are weak shit though.
They jacked the TTK up as the health is 150 now.I mean I LOVED Warzone.. but the gunplay is broken..
