Cold showers did wonders for me. Some good lotions afterwards helps as well.

Try it daily for a month.
I set a timer. 3, 4 or 5 minutes is enough.
Some minor dynamic stretching beforehand will help but mostly it's accepting the sensation.
Breath and try to relax. After a minute or 2 you'll feel more accustomed.
Extra fun. Put the shower on for some minutes. You'll get the real cold water =P

But it felt soooooo good when my entire big toe had dead skin and I could peel it off.
My old family dog also used to lick my feet, which felt fantastic. RIP Sandy (don't worry, it's not any of my secret question answers).
I used to be a swimmer, do the chlorine did an absolute number on my skin, especially my feet, no matter how much I dried them.

I have eczema that mostly appears on my hands. Sometimes it gets really itchy, to the point lotion doesn’t help it even, and the only way to relieve the itch is to run my hands under extremely hot water.
