Polished off Trails in the Sky SC. Might jump right into cold steel 2 right away.
Shame(for me) the 3rd Sky game is gonna be PC only.
I was playing Pokemon Y. It was good. Honestly Pokemon is the the closest thing to a JRPG that ice played. Was gonna pick up either FFIV or Chrono Trigger. Any opinions?

Finally dusted off Grandia II. That last 10 hours was no fun. Story goes to shit and thesoured me greatly. The spell animations are way too long. I stopped using the critical attacks and the cancel system in general after 5 hours into the game. Great battle system grafted onto a truly boring game. Graphics are charming as hell though.boss rush, followed by a weakass final boss
Halfway into Parasite Eve. Inventory management is a pain. Hoping to finish that so I can get into some comforting stuff like Dragon Quest IV.
Hope it's the IOS version.
You're still going to play it right? Those games would run on a toaster.
Rogue Galaxy and Dark Cloud 2 which I picked up from the PSN Flash Sale, and most likely Tales of Berseria when that comes in the mail tomorrow.
Starting dragon quest vii tomorrow.
Persona 3 Portable first time, is it OK to play the female route? I always choose females when I can but it says that male is closest to original P3 'experience'.

The guy route is the official cannon of sorts ie its the one the spin-offs will always recognize. But i think the differences are negligible enough.
The social links with the guys are way better in the female route too.
should have played femc, i feel the social links with the femc are alot better than the male social linksAbout 20 hours into P3P, at September 24 in-game and playing as the male MC. Thinking I might drop it honestly. Persona 4 is one of my all-time favorites, so I was excited to try its predecessor, especially hearing that this game had a darker tone that sounded right up my alley.
Unfortunately, I'm not really liking P3P so far, despite really wanting to... The game just feels a bit lifeless to me. I don't feel any kind of bond with the characters so far apart from Koromaru (Aegis is ok too though). Tartarus gets pretty stale after a while, and the social links seem far less interesting than in Persona 4. Does it pick up or is Persona 3 just not for me?
yes its fine

Just started playing DQVIII earlier tonight. I had never played it before, loving it.
Finished Parasite Eve. Had to beat the final boss 3 times due to the. Anyways, is EX mode essential? I've heard all about the Chrysler Building but I'm not into min-maxing my way towardsescape sequence because you die instantly if it touches you as it lurches towards you. Thinking I'm done with this game and should focus on DQIV instead.the real ending
No real reason, this late in the game. I have done the entire Building twice, but it is honestly too long, with little payoff. No new cg sequences, or anything. Just youtube the ending and move on.
I got a $50 eShop gift card for my birthday so I decided to get Xenoblade Chronicles for my N3DS. I actually bought it for the Wii but never got around to playing it and now it's sitting as a factory sealed collector's item.
I'm about 2 hours in and liking it so far. There seems to be a lot to learn about the game mechanics but I'm hoping to get the hang of it as I go on. I have died a few times though at the start which is uncharacteristic. Not being able to control my party and having limited healing is a bit different from what I'm used to.
