Just got a G700s, and its not bad.

the dpi isn't quite as fast as I hoped it would be

The uber scrolling vs mechanical button is really nice

Can I program a button to refresh or F5?

Very good.

G600
Even for non mmo games, it's super comfy and has more buttons than I could ever want all placed nicely under my thumb.

Retired my MX510 a couple months back - it finally bit the dust after trusty service since 2003. Now got a SteelSeries Sensei Wireless which is doing me veeeery nicely.

I read the review of that on Guru, sounds excellent, out of my price range

Logitech G500.

It's not the ultimate gaming mouse, but it's an all-round good mouse for both gaming and productivity. And I'd hate to have a mouse with out a free-running mousewheel as that makes scrolling large distances pretty easy.

Currently flip flopping between a SteelSeries Sensei, a LogiTech MX518 (although it's pretty much dead now) and a LogiTech G9. Comfort is a big factor and I always look for a mouse that has little to no added acceleration or line adjustment which is something that never really gets mentioned on the box.

MX518 - it's the one and only mouse.

Great mouse, and one I used for a very long time (when it broke Logitech sent me a new one, twice!) but without a shadow of a doubt the best mouse I've ever used is a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. No frills, no acceleration, plane smoothing or angle snapping, absolutely perfect for gaming.

Ya I was looking at that but I really hate that huge charging pad. Can you just plug it in via USB to charge it?

On all my computers I use a Logitech MX Anywhere mouse. This is a great all around mouse for surfing, even light gaming (non competitive). Batteries last a long time and it is really responsive.

I also have a Razer Orochi which is a great gaming mouse, and can be wireless (bluetooth) or wired. THe problem is that the batteries dont last very long and sometimes it doesnt like to connect after it goes to sleep... Its not a huge mouse, and is supposed to be for gaming laptops but I dont like big mice so the size is perfect for me.

Steelseries Kinzu - Not my top choice but they were having a clear out at my local supermarket, managed to pick up an orange version for £3 (new)

Apart from the gloss finish it's doing a decent job paired with my steelseries cloth gaming surface.

Microsoft Intellimouse with a dodgy connection. Cheap and does the job.

I refuse to purchase an expensive mouse because I can not find anywhere that lets you try before you buy. Seems crazy to me to buy something like that online and blind.

It really is. There is practically zero lag in wireless mode, it's insane.

You need the charging pad for its wireless feature (it uses its own wireless standard, annoyingly, but it's rock solid) but I don't mind it too much. Handily, yeah, you can charge it with the supplied (but proprietary) micro USB cable, but that kinda defeats the wireless purpose. Still, the regular Sensei is brill for a wired mouse, but man, after 11 years of my MX510, I figured why not go for the wireless haha.

"so you bought a mouse with a tramp stamp..." - my GF
not even the matching backlight of my Lycosa keyboard could convince her of my setup's coolness...

still, an amazing mouse, both in ergonomics and looks. I'm not that hardcore of an FPS player to notice whether or not it's any good for that kind of stuff, really.
