I thought this season started out badly, but the last few episodes have been great. The one that Zach Braff directed was the best since the early second season (even though you could see the plot twists from about a mile away).

I don't like how the both the fantasy sequences and jokes "in reality" have become increasingly over the top and ridiculous.....but the one-liners and internal monologue jokes are 200% better than last year.

The cliffhanger ending was pretty cool. If they are going to put an end to the on-again-off-again romance with Elliot (it was kinda tired anyway), then I hope that they do continue to include multi-episode plot arcs like this.

Also, Juliana Marguiles is hot. And the Heather Graham character sucked....I hope she never returns =P

I enjoyed Doug's little job change. When I had read the episode's summary I was worried that he might be leaving the show, but fortunately that was not the case. Umm, otherwise it was a pretty good episode, but not really a standout for me, but I prefer the episodes with some real sentiment. This one was funny, but without any real sentiment along with it, it doesn't prove memorable to me. It's when the two cross that the show shines.

Always nice to see Richard Kind show up again though.

It was a good episode, not stellar but good. And I was happy that Doug found his niche. I was beginning to wonder how they were going to take care of him.

I want to see more elliot/turk/carla/cox.
The show handles guest stars well, but when the guest star's storyline deals with JD, everyone else don't get much camera time.

I miss that blonde bitchy surgeon from season 2:(

Still, pretty good episode.

That'd be season 3.

I agree about the guest stars. It's been one of my complaints recently, although it's not just with JD. The Molly Shannon appearance was really too much in an episode that already was the departure of Heather Graham. That could have been delayed for a later show. I'd definitely want to see more of Elliot. She's been left out somewhat lately, and is more of a plot device.

I haven't caught up with Scrubs for a long time... is there still a gratuitous half-naked Elliot scene in every episode? I rather liked those.

There's not many Elliot scenes, period.(<-----slightly exaggerated). It feels like they don't know what to do with the character now that she's no longer the love interest.

Sounds like I'm complaining, but only cuz I love the show:)

Did anyone see how the number during the show (916-CALL-TURK) actually was a real number that they bought a cell phone for and if you called it (im assuming while they were on set shooting) sometimes a cast member would pick up. People on scrubs-tv.com were able to talk to Zach, Donald, Bill, Sam LLoyd etc. That would be pretty cool :)

Oh man, that would be pretty cool if I had been curious enough to call the number! Too bad they probably stopped answering now that the secret is out.

You can still call the number, the actor that plays Turk has a voicemail setup that just says something like thanks for watching the show and vote for zach braff for the people's choice award etc etc...

It was pretty good. I loved the board room scene. Knowing my luck that would be what happened if I decided to take my boytoy at work. *chuckle* Priceless.

LOVED this episode. It's just so great to see all the main characters heavily involved. And Jordan/Bob/Todd/Ted/Janitor all in the same episode? There's just no beating that.
and :lol at the Kill Bill scene.

Transcript from Watch with Kristin:

What's the deal with 916-CALL-TURK?
I heard they were actually answering it.
Yes! That number, 916-CALL-TURK, was given out on last week's episode. And my on-set source at Scrubs told me it has been out of control ever since: "The phone is ringing every five seconds...ever since word got out that the actors were actually answering the phone, there've been 50 callers a minute, and we have to go through the voicemail constantly so the message system doesn't overload." Apparently, this was never supposed to happen. The original plan was just to have Donald Faison (Turk) leave the prerecorded message for fans to hear, but that whole thing went screwy-louie-I-love-him-I-doey when Zach Braff decided he wanted to pick it up and talk to a fan. Donald Faison wanted in on the action, and it just snowballed...until--get this--Scrubs was on hiatus this past Thursday and Friday, but Scrubs Boss Bill Lawrence (who also picked up calls) called up the stars at home and asked them to come in and field calls.

Who was answering calls?
Zach, Bill, Donald, Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla) and Sam Lloyd (Ted, the nervous lawyer who is also doing double duty as Dr. Goldfine on Desperate Housewives) spent their days off talking to Scrubs fans who called 916-CALL-TURK. Just when I thought I couldn't love Scrubs any more, they prove me wrong. I'm tingly.
