What possible E3 2013 Megaton could push you over the edge in hype?

Fallout 4
Oculus Rift Next Gen support
Dual Shock 4 fixes ergonomics and analogue stick positions
Mass Effect 4 is after events of 1-3, Bioware picks a canonical ending to work with
I always save a little space in my hopes and dreams for Shenmue 3... sigh

This.

This is the first E3 I've looked forward to in ages. It's going to be sensational. It's up to Microsoft and Sony to convince me which of their consoles they want me to buy :)

Next gen KOTOR 3 developed by Obsidian that continues the story of the Exile and Revan, it completely disregards SWTOR and the Revan novel.

Platinum Games collabs with Capcom(who suddenly don't suck) to develop Devil May Cry 5, it returns to the darker atmosphere of DMC1 and has an open world mission based structure.

Both are these aren't possible, I'm just spouting off dreams here.

Oculus Rift receives full support from everyone and is cemented as the future.

I approve of this post! One can always dream...

And at the risk of getting lynched:

Heavenly Sword 2 (PS4 Launch title)

My brain would explode.

If Sony shows the same Motorstorm trailer as the one at the announcement of the PS3. And then they say it's all real-time on PS4.
The Last Guardian for PS4 would be very nice too.

Nintendo

-Nintendo showing off a Zelda for Wii U completly different from the demo and that shakes the series up.

- Nintendo getting good support from Square ( a new FFtactics game, Final Fantasy 6
remake for ..WiiU)

-a Layton game for WiiU, action-adventure-puzzle solving genre (i.e not an adaptation of the handheld games) .

Sony
PS4 under 400€

Sony first party sizzle reel for PS4. And Mirror's Edge 2 with an Oculus demo. And anything out of Kojima Productions for nextgen.

Microsoft announces they've acquired Oculus LLC.
(Yeah, I don't want everyone playing ball on this one. That shit's boring.)

They also announce their Xbox 8 launch lineup (which includes PGR5), an October release date and a $249 purchase option with a 3-year commitment to Xbox LIVE. An even cheaper 3-year contract plan is offered through Comcast.

Yasumi Matsuno reveals that the company he abandoned Level-5 for is Monolithsoft. Debuts his new game as a collaboration with Tetsuya Takahashi and blows everyone's minds. Their title instantly becomes the most hyped Wii U game. If they want to really blow minds, Nintendo reveals they've acquired the Xenogears license from Square Enix and this title is a full-fledged remake.

Both last year's XCOM (with additional platform-specific content) and Path of Exile get announced for Vita with fall 2013 release dates.

Sony reveals that the PS4 can stream all Vita titles to the PS4's touchscreen controllers similar to the Wii U GamePad... in addition to offering that functionality for "select" PS4 titles.
The Vita itself can also function as a fully-functional PS4 controller for use with "most" PS4 titles (that don't actively make use of analog triggers - i.e. driving games).

Persona 5 gets revealed as a simultaneous Cross-Buy PS3/Vita release.

Hiroyuki Ito defects from Square Enix to go somewhere... ANYWHERE else... that will utilize his talents properly.

XSEED announces they will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC Kai HD Edition simultaneously across both Steam and PSN later this fall. It performs well and XSEED finally decides to pull the pickle out of their butts that's kept them from outsourcing the translation for the rest of the series.

For me:
  • Half Life 3 - we've been waiting for it for so long...
  • Some gameplay footage for Dark Souls 2
  • Alan Wake 2 - loved the 1st one and American Nightmare, I'm really curious how that'll turn out
  • Devil May Cry 5 - I've been waiting for this ever since I "finished" DMC4 (not interested by DmC because it has weak bosses)
  • The Witcher 3 (although it'll be announced before the E3)
  • Vanquish 2 on next gen consoles - Hnggg

And of course new IPs.

-Windwaker sequel, would get me to buy a WiiU.
-Fallout 4, can't wait to see what a Bethesda rpg will look like on next gen consoles and we're definitely getting Fallout 4 before Elder Scrolls 6.
-Next gen Deus Ex, no boss battles this time please. Bigger and more interactive levels but not open world, less obvious "hidden paths".

-Final Fantasy 7 remake, yeah right...
-Mirror's Edge 2, yeah right...
-Beyond Good&Evil 2 yeah right...
-Next gen Hitman, Blood Money style. Yeah right...

Rare returning glory together with Nintendo and making a true sequel to Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing and Killer Instinct

PS4 releases in November, Watch_Dogs and MGS Ground Zeroes are launch titles. Dark Souls II coming in December.

I would have a fucking heart attack, probably.

I can see
Fallout4
Kingdom Hearts 3
Super smash 4
Half Life 3(but not at E3)
A new 3DS zelda
Dragon age 3
Mario cart U
Earthbound wii U
Doom4 (quakecon)
Beyond good & evil 2
The Witcher 3
MGS5

What really would get me all hyped is the last guardian for the new Sony console.

F-Zero X 3D (remaster of the n64 game with the DD content added and new online multiplayer and leaderboards and custom track trading)

a man can dream.

Not too long ago a guest was on Weekend Confirmed (can't remember his name but he had a British accent) and he talked about how awesome it would be if Sony did a James Bond game that was exclusive to their console and was developed by Naughty Dog. Ever since I heard that I can't get how awesome that would be out of my head and I would be floored if it was announced for the Orbis.

From Nintendo, the announcement of a new FPA Metroid game, with Retro in charge again.

From Sony, The Last Guardian (1080/60) PS4 launch game.

Wild cards (as with every E3 for the past decade) would be a new Panzer Dragoon game (would accept HD updates) and Shenmue 3.

Let's See:

- New Guilty Gear. HD 2D Graphics, new bso from Daisuke.
- New Motorstorm, close to the concepts from the first game.
- New Demons Souls. Seriously.
- New Wipeout. Sony, give me more wipeout, pls.
- New Silent Hill from "Team Silent"
(Yes, i know there was never an actual team silent)
- Deus Ex Human Revolution 2. I do ask for this.

- New Metroid for the WiiU from Retro Studios
- New 2D Metroid for the 3DS
- New Igarashi Castlevania
- Zone of the Enders 3
- Valkyrie Profile 3
- The Last Guardian releases at the end of this year or the begining of the next

Something new, unexpected and exciting would be nice too.

HL3
New F-Zero, COME ON ALREADY
A new Zelda on 3DS

I'm not really expecting anything on PS360 at this point, I guess I'm eager to see the new gen.

  • Half-Life 3
  • Kingdom Hearts 3
  • Mirror's Edge 2
  • Final Fantasy XV for next gen, Agni style (or you know... actually do something with Versus)
  • Zelda U (that looks as good as that tech demo did)
  • Red Dead Redemption sequel (not direct, just another Red Dead game)
  • Naughty Dog's other project (they have 2 teams right? One is doing Last of Us... so what's the other one?)

Exciting new IPs should be a given. But it's kinda hard to specifically what you want in a new IP announcement.

Dragon Age 3 a return to glory for Bioware
A new Unreal title
A new RTS title that blows my mind
Doom IV I'd rather Quake V though!
Zone of the Enders III

My craziest want is... Final Fantasy Tactics II

Half Life 3, 3D Mario for Wii U, Metroid Prime 4, Persona 5, Banjo Threeie, Mirror's Edge 2, new internally developed Star Fox, Super Smash Bros 4 gameplay, Mother collection for 3DS (localized), Earthbound remake for Wii U or 3DS, Mother 3 being localized for the eShop as Earthbound 2, ANYTHING RELATED TO THE MOTHER/EARTHBOUND SERIES-DEAR GOD HELP ME NOW.
