Superman, Batman, Cyborg, Flash, Wonder Woman would be a good start. Adding in Aquaman and Green Lantern would take a proper introduction of their own. As for Green Lantern, the most popular would be Hal Jordan and John Stewart. John Stewart would be the better choice unless they can get Hal Jordan to have his conflicted, somewhat racist character shown. That was unique and interesting in that respect but I'd only recommend Hal if they can do that.

My vote goes to the following. The theme of diversity is something I think DC could capture which is lacking in Marvel's films. Which has been a good part of DC's animated univese but which used to be lacking in comics. There is no way DC puts out an all white team if they want this to do huge world wide. Also more female members is a good idea to get an even wider audience. Three compared to Marvel's 1 and possibly 2 in the second Avengers film will play better. That not even counting female support cast that aren't heroes.

Cyborg - Diversity.
Green Lantern/John Stewart - To distance the MoS universe from the Green Lantern film and for even more diversity. Younger audiences from kids to young adults are more familiar either in detail or in passing with the Justice League cartoons. Forget the comic version for a minute.That version isn't what is clothing or has toys in the stores.
Flash - Barry or Wally. I'm not sure which and that largely depends on how the Flash movie shakes out. If the movie is a Flash family film then it could easily be Barry with him being killed off (the big death in the film) to make room for Wally to be promoted with him getting a possible second Flash film. They could use that to bring in Teen Titan characters.
I think the above could be a lock. Green Arrow and Black Canery are out I think because of the Arrow tv series which is currently successful. I don't see Martian Manhunter either. I think the below are the other possible members to finish off the team.
Supergirl or Powergirl - Building off the hints in Man of Steel (film and prequel comic.
Hawkgirl - I think going with Hawkgirl by herself might be better to play off the relationship from the cartoon that more people would be familiar with.
Atom (Ryan Choi version for more diversity. With Ray Palmer being in the film but not in the suit.)
Aquaman is one I want to see in the film. Especially if that means we can get a Kaldur Aqualad but I think with him it might be better to put him in another characters film in order to build him up more. Or he has to be the center of the story to effectively kill any and all Aquaman negative jokes. That's the only way I think a Aquaman solo film is gong to work.
