I wouldn't call Twitter a "balanced platform". You either get right-wing retards or left-wing retards (mostly right-wing retards nowadays, since the left-wing retards seem to have moved on to BlueSky). There's almost no in-between. And while Elon does rarely ban people from Twitter (afaik, the last ban was an account who recorded his private jet flights), which is fair enough, he did remove blue checkmarks from people who called him out on his bullshit. Not sure if he still does it or not. The dude and all other ring-wing snowflakes still whine like little bitches all the time, though. And many of them do censor the media platforms they directly own. Jeff Bezos is unapologetically interfering with anything critical about him and stuff he likes in the Washington Post. Again, he owns it, so fair enough, but it is a media outlet which is not free to say anything they want. I think they are more nuanced about controlling the discussion (e.g. by denying access of information to journalists/people they don't like and funding media that they do like) than left-wing people are, who are pretty quick to just ban anything negative.
