Bananas. I despise anything that even remotely tastes like Bananas. The last time I ate a banana, I had to immediately chase it with a glass of water to prevent myself from throwing it up.

Interesting.......

Many types of seafood, especially seafood with a weird or rubbery texture. Although I like a few types of fish, love crabcakes and lobster, and have become a huge fan of sushi in the past year.

I'm not a big fan of potatoes. Mashed they're alright, but eating a baked potato feels like some kind of punishment to me.

Also anything deep fried really turns my appetite off. Especially when the breading is overly thick.

And I hate stuff that's just a chore to eat. This includes pretty much anything still attached to its bones, or most sea food. I love the meat that some of these animals produce, but there's just too much messy work for me to enjoy it.

Fish and seafood, especially prawn (possibly allergic to it)
Milk (lactose intolerant)
Sushi *BARF*
Chocolate ice cream (It tastes like mud)

Corn chips, unless they're plain and dipped in salsa. Doritos are awful.

Any Asian food outside of "Chinese", Sushi, and certain curries. Don't even get me started on Vietnamese food...

i hate Sushi, everyone around me (who wants to be trendy) likes it

Seconded, and corrected.

+ I HATE
blue cheese
mushrooms
oysters & seashells
shrimp
cold pasta mixed in a salad
ketchup and/or mustard ruining my otherwise perfect hamburger
cauliflower
cabbagerolls
peanut and chocolate butter
blood sausages
EDIT: cereal with yoghurt instead of milk, yuck

mayo, creamy salad dressings, turkey gravy (I can't stand creamy texture)
sushi, salmon... almost all seafood except for crabs and shrimp
bubble tea
instant noodles
bacon, chicken wings (too fatty on average)
most chocolate products (sugar overload)
coffee
ground beef
processed peanut products (peanut butter, roasted...)
dim sum - grease makes me sick
butter

- Most seafood (I'm allergic to shellfish and the mollusks/invertebrates are just plain creepy to me) but I like fish

- Brussels sprouts

- Not a fan of dark meat chicken/turkey (tastes really gross)

- Most desserts that have coconut (macaroons & Girl Scout Samoa cookies :blech:)

- Raisins/prunes (hate the texture) but I love other dried fruits

cereal
barbecue ribs
bacon
carne asada tacos
shrimp cocktail
buttered lobster
oatmeal
warm crusty bread with good high-fat butter
cornbread
toast with jam
apples
sushi

Americanized Asian food.

this too. crab rangoon, veggie lo mein, teriyaki chicken, general tso's in sweet and spicy sauce, pork spring rolls, stir fried green beans in black bean sauce, egg drop soup. . . BARF

Why do people say they hate something? There are so many ways in making food, i hate squash in its raw form but cream of squash soup=win.

Mozzarella cheese with tomatoes. Seems to be a fad where I'm from, but I can't stand the shit.

ugh, yes. definitely. especially on those gross discs of crispy bread. what are those things called? they put the tomatoes and then melt the cheese on top. the kids all eat them.

Any kinds of eggs, eggs in general are nasty as hell and foul smelling. I only find eggs to be acceptable if they are a component of another food to the point where the egg can no longer be tasted.

[nitpick]
I'm pretty sure the amount of people who love genuine asian cuisine is greater than the amount of people who love americanized asian cuisine.

I suspect that there may be more people in Asia than in America. You may be onto something.

Ham. I brought ham sandwiches to school every single day growing up and grew to despise the bland, slightly salty flavour and the cold, rubbery texture.

Blegh.

I LOVE bacon and pork though. Om nom nom nom!

Beef stew. Is beef stew loved by most? I'm not sure. Around here it seems to be, anyways. If I was homeless I'm sure this crappy combination of a bunch of food items would be alright, but I can't stand it. Ugh.

Oh yeah, how could I forget. HAM

GOD that's nasty shit.

Since when is sushi considered "trendy"? 10 years ago maybe but now its a staple. A lot of the stuff in this thread can be prepared where it is indeed delicious and would probably make you change your mind on some things. That being said, I will say that corn on the cob and boiled corn is perhaps the worst thing imaginable. It is in fact my most hated aspect of North American summers.
