whatever happened to Bush? (Gavin Rossdale is even cuter than JGar!)

the band, not the president(s).

i recall everyone hating them and it was a big joke to like them. but to be truthful they had some pretty good songs. the album sixteen stone was good overall, and there were other goods songs on the following albums (swallowed, mouth, letting the cables sleep). the only thing i've heard in relation to the band is about gavin breaking up with gwen or that he has a kid out there somewhere. did these dudes break up or are they on hiatus? not that anyone really cares (myself included in the grand scheme of things), just wondering if anyone follows the band and knows

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
Aren't Gavin and Gwen still married? Anyways, they flat out broke up. Their guitarist left in 2001. They went on a hiatus. In 2002 they said they were gonna continue and find a new guitarist. They never did and Gavin went to work on a solo release.

For some strange reason, the guitarist from Bush (6teen Stone) has a similar playing/artistic style that of Adam Jones from Tool. Pay close attention and you'll see what I'm talking about. In my opinion Bush had a great, experimental and dynamic guitar player.

I don't mean to bump an age-old thread here, but I was stumbling around the Net and I came across this little bit off GQ's web site which briefly covers exactly what the hell happened to Bush....or Gavin Rossdale at least. I was somewhat curious myself since I used to like the band somewhat in their golden days but never much cared to dig around at the time to find an answer. Either way, I don't know if it's the suits or Gavin, but those suits look ridiculous on him. His head looks absolutely inflated.

Ex-Bush frontman returns to the fore

For a guy who has spent the past few years laying low, Gavin Rossdale has been surprisingly busy. (And we're not even talking about all those nights he spends as an awards-show arm piece for his wife, Gwen Stefani.)

The former Bush lead singer has a record due out this spring with his new band, Institute, and is appearing opposite Keanu Reeves this month in the cult-comic-book film Constantine. "I hope when the record and movie come out, I'm going to look busy," says Rossdale. "Right now people are probably like, 'God, that guy, what is he—on the fucking beach?' "

The Brit is also exploiting his reputable footballer skills in The Game of Their Lives, the story of the United States national soccer team that miraculously defeated England in the 1950 World Cup.

Still, despite his dual careers, Rossdale knows his place when it comes to fashion. "When I'm with Gwen, no one cares what I'm wearing," he says with a laugh. "People are like, 'You guys look great. Gwen, what are you wearing?' They never ask me."
