What's the consensus on Yager (Xbox)?

Vindication...sweet.

It's for cheap at $10 dollars at Best Buy. Worth it? How does it play, say to Crimson Skies and other shooters? I've read the graphics are decent enough, though.

The action's a little slow-paced, but not bad. Graphics are pretty nice overall. For $10, you'll get more than your money's worth.

it's short and sweet, and theres no replay value, if you can't rent it i guess $10 is a fair price.

The US box-art is hideous. I picked up my copy for 10 dollar-equivalent in the UK ages ago, and didn't feel hard done by. You might want to spend a little extra and get some paper to cover up the ugliness of the artwork on the US version.

It's a nice game... A bit too difficult for my tastes (think I got stuck near the end or so). For $10 it's a no-brainer.

A nice pick-up for $10. Despite looking like a hungover muppet on the front cover, the in-game character Magnus is actually pretty cool. Very Han Solo...and it sounds like he is exactly the same voice actor as Nathan in Crimson Skies:HRTR (wonder if they picked him for Crimson Skies after checking his work in Yager).

Decent looking, with deliberately slow-paced (your ship is more hovercraft than fighter jet) but challenging combat, and lots of actually decent story and voice-acting so far. Again, not bad for $10.
