Whats the difference between Tekken 5 arcade and PS2 graphically???

Early shots of the PS2 version suggested that it used lower resolution shadows compared to the arcade version.

Anyone know for sure what the differences between System 246 and 258 are?

I think 258 has a bit more RAM and is overclocked a bit. Same architecture but a bit faster and more capable. But Tekken 5 was started on 248 and I think wasn't really upgraded for 258.

I play both almost every day. They look nearly identical.

Poor System 246, everyone is always calling it something else. 256 and 248 in this thread.

as for the games (not speaking about the boards) there seems to be very little difference between the two - i cant really even tell.

it's not like VERY noticable difference between Tekken 3 Arcade and Tekken 3 PS1

I thought the first 3 Tekkens on arcade always looked noticably better than PSX and never understood why everyone said they were arcade perfect.
