What's the word on Eternal Mana?

I wasn't aware it was coming so soon, this month, hmm. I wasn't too curious originally, but weapon building, crazy synth and ARPG elements on the field (at least) interest me. Has anyone given it a try?

I'm likely to put Stella Deus on hold so I don't SRPG myself out between it and Fire Emblem in May, so I'd have time for another game then, whee.

It certainly looks interesting...

I hope I have the cash.

The style is nice. The sprite work looks absolutely amazing. I love the sound of all the customization that can be done.

Can't wait.

If you prebook at either Gamecrazy or NIS America's website, you get a Free Soundtrack CD. I've been waiting to wait for my local Gamecrazy to get these in before commiting, but just in the happen chance they do get them in, I'd better be safe than sorry.

The game looks fun, but I need to scratch my surface of my pile o shame first (both Shin Megami Tensei games, both Shadow Hearts, Y's...yikes)

I preordered it when I found out that a music cd with like 30+ songs comes as a preorder bonus.

Guys, Atelier has one of the BEST soundtracks of all time. I listen to lots and lots of soundtracks, and this is right up there at the top. I'd get it just to see how & where each song is used. :-p

Plus, it's supposed to play pretty well from what I've heard. I can't wait for it. :)

Anybody else have any opinons that might have played the japanese version?

I think Jiggle put up some long ago, I can't remember which topic though.

It's time for my yearly dose of anime fruityness anyway. Plus the game is seemingly BASED around achelmy and synthesis, that alone sells me.

How was the VA work in La Puccele?

I have been looking forward to Atelier for a while. Just checked Nippon Ichi's NA site and it does mention pre-ordering Atelier, but it's not listed in their store. The soundtrack only goes to the first 500 people who pre-order. Yikes.

I just got Stella Deus, so if you get this Alex, we can compare and contrast their suckitude while you wreck me in UC2...

Haha, sounds good. I forgot I even had UC2, just been chipping away at replaying Maximo while feeling the guilt emanating from my Digital Devil Saga box.

Cocoebiz sells the complete soundtrack... for $30. Not as good as free, but if you must have it (and this is the complete soundtrack) it's still possible.

Hmm, thanks for that. If I can't get a hold of the soundtrack for free, I will definetly check that out.

Anyway, an update on the soundtrack/preorder situation. I just received an e-mail back from NIS America's support. They said that Ebgames and Gamestop should be carrying the soundtrack as a preorder special as well. If you preorder online though, you get a special password to get a downloadable strategy guide for Atelier and the soundtrack. Soundtrack goes to first 500 who preorder but the password goes to anybody who preorders. The password will be released two weeks after Atelier ships, but to get it early, you need to preorder from the website.

I like and can deal with the style, because it's not cute stuff I relate with fruity and overall mediocre Japanese design.

Oh, and while I'm not sure I'm true, folks are saying NIS has opted to ship the game with both English and Japanese voice options. So, that's cool if true.,
