What's your buying schedule for the rest of the year on XB1 games?

I'm finally planning to pick myself up an Xbox One sometime this year and already have a planned list of games from previous releases that I plan to get, and haven't been following along very closely this year so I have no clue what's really coming out at the end of this year except for a few games. Thought the ps4 topic was a neat idea and a good reminder for some games that I might have forgot about, and want to make sure I have a decent list of games to pick up for the xb1 when I decide to pick it up.

For me what I know of coming this year and the game's I'm excited for and definitely picking up once I get the system is

Tomb Raider
Forza 6
Gears 1 Remake (not sure if I'm gonna get it here or for PC yet, though after they announced that you get all the other games on Xbox One I might be going that direction since I actually haven't played a Gears outside the first game, and I actually really loved the first game)

I wish so much that Cuphead was this year cause that game looks phenomenal. Don't know if I'm gonna go straight for Halo 5 either, might wait til it gets cheaper as i haven't played Halo 4, though I'm not super big on multiplayer modes and am usually a campaign only guy.


Are there any other indie games or games that have just flown off my radar that I should know about?
 
Gears and mgs 5 are day one. Everything else I'll wait till it gets cheaper. Game prices in canada are ridiculous. I would get fallout 4 day one but I'll be busy with school then.
 
Might get Forza.

Maybe Gears Ultimate, but, I honestly don't know if I can handle active reload on those bumpers.

Im also there day one when fable legends is released. I'm still not sure how the F2P stuff works and how much money I will have to fork over. If it's the KI model I'll probably play with the free version for a bit before deciding to pay for the rest of the characters.
 
Just Gears of War right now. Maybe Forza 6

I would grab Halo 5 but I'm still working through Halo 1 in MCC and don't see myself having the time to finish all of them before its out

I am saving fallout and Battlefront until Christmas because I don't want Halo and Tomb Raider to be neglected. I know how fallout and Battlefront will just take over my gaming time so I want to spread it out.

Day one I'll get Gears Ultimate and Fallout 4, and possibly Halo 5.

Eventually I'll get Tomb Raider and Battlefront.

Possibly the next CoD depending on how many of my friends get it.

Theres new and old models for the regular Xbox One controllers? I bought one a few months ago for my PC and the bumpers fell weird and a bit too clicky to me. Really like the controller for it's sticks and regular triggers, but with a better dpad and bumpers this controller would been perfect for me. Still love how easy it is to use on my PC, just plug it in and I'm good to go :D
 
Other than gears ultimate, nothing.

Sucks being poor but I am pumped for the GWG 360 games being BC. That will help ease the pain!
 
Nothing particularly excites me as it's not my primary platform but if Halo 5's campaign gets good impressions I'll get that. For the rest, they're either multiplatform and thus I'll get them on PC, or they're not the types of games I'm interested in (racing, for example). Might consider Gear if I have time from all the MGSV and FO4 craziness.
 
If you have a ps4 already you'll probably use it for most games, then for the Xbox just get the exclusives

If your first next gen is X1
Get some of the Big ones this year and some you missed on

If you have the money ,i normally use black Friday for backlog, games normally run 20-30$ price for older ones

I really hope they get Tales of Vesperia as one of the games that works with BC, never got to play the game before and I usually like Tales games, heard alot of good about it too.

Yeah I have a PS4 as well and both PS4 and XB1 are pretty much strictly going to be exclusive machines for me. Hoping I can get everything for decent price by the time Black Friday rolls around. Want to make sure I get Forza 5 and Horizon 2 (though if 6 is amazing I can probably skip 5), as well as Sunset Overdrive

They recently updated the xbox one controller with better bumpers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
 
Rise of the Tomb Raider is the next X1 must buy but I will pick up Rare Reply and Batman Arkham Knight before the end of the year as well. Everything else will either be pc or ps4.
