Interestingly enough,
this thread on The Next Level asked a similar question, but limited people to choosing five. Here was my response:
1.
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect--
TimeSplitters 2 was my favorite first-person shooter on this generation of video game systems, and this game looks like it's really going to kick it up a notch.
2.
Rise of the Kasai--it's the follow-up to
The Mark of Kri, which I enjoyed.
3.
Champions: Return to Arms--it's the follow-up to
Champions of Norrath, and looks like it'll have more depth (and supposedly a much better interface for online play).
4.
Wanda and the Colossus--it's done by the same team as
Ico, and that was just such a beautiful game that I can't wait to see what they do next.
5.
Unity--it's being developed by the very talented Jeff Minter, and is the only remaining reason why I am even considering getting a GameCube at this point (since most of that system's other really good games are being ported to PS2).
Later, I remembered that
Enthusia is also coming in 2005, so that's another one I'd like to try.
God of War is another promising game that looks really good.
I'd also like to try the PSP games
Darkstalkers Chronicle,
Gran Turismo 4 Mobile,
Lumines, and
Mercury.
