Hello again, how have you all been? I know, its been quite awhile since my last update. Ive actually been quite busy over the past few days. But im here now, so you can all rest easy. This is the big one, the news that ive learned about Maximo 3. Before I say what it is, I think its important to note that this info comes from the creator of Maximo, David Siller, who no longer works for Capcom. With that said here is what he had to say when asked about Maximo 3: "I no longer work for Capcom and subsequently, there will NOT be another Maximo from Capcom. Or maybe I should say that I don't believe that there will be another one as far as I know. Capcom of course owns the IP "Maximo", but it was not developed or created by anyone from Capcom Japan, and the newly installed management of Capcom R&D in the US do not want to champion a project that they did not create either. I intend to talk to Capcom management there or Japan in the near future with the intent of licensing the IP back and getting the funding to make the third game of the series. I have been working on the design for some time and it will be incredible!".

Good luck to them, but I have a hard time believing Capcom will ever sell them the Maximo IP back. What a shame.
