There is a subset of "woke" who hold a position that Richard Schweder calls "sovereign multiculturalism" which ends up looking a lot like racial segregationism. Daryl Davis who talks KKK and white Supremacist people out of their extremism was in a documentary where he also talked to some BLM people in Baltimore and it got really heated because he observed that some of what they were saying sounded like KKK people he talked out of "wearing the hood".
