Where Ya Curly Mustaches At?! Marvel vs Capcom 3 Hype Thread of Scoops!

Looking nice. Hope they clean it up a bit. I was kinda hoping the colors were like in game SFIV.

It looks like it has a filter on it - ironically like SFIVs trailers and SSFIVs new alt colors.

On the one hand, this looks suspiciously like TvC on steroids, giving me hope that there will be a Wii version. On the other hand, it's obviously HD and powered by MT Framework, so I doubt it :/.

I hope they release the game for all platforms: PS3/360 because they've already got MvC 2, and Wii because it's got TvC.

Fingers crossed!

Dammit. If Chris is in it, then Wesker being in is probably a long shot. Unless they also got rid of Jill.

I think they learned their lesson with TVC. They want to be where the SF/Tekken/SC/BB fanbase is. Wii version probably won't happen.

Yeah, can't say I'm happy about it looking closer to TvC than MvC2 or SSIV, which I'd prefer.

That aside Im sure it will be awesome. As long as I get to pick Cable (who I picked long before he was known to be cheap) Spidey, BB Hood, CapCom, Venom and hopefully Viewtiful Joe. But not as bad and lame as the TvC version.

What lesson exactly? That Tatsunoko isn't a marketable brand? I could've told you that. :lol

Wasn't there something about Capcom porting MT Framework to Wii some time ago?

Well, optimistically, Capcom apparently said we'll be blown out with the amount of characters on disc. So three reps from RE wouldn't be all that crazy. Though to be honest, I doubt it'll happen.

Capcom

We are not worthy to have a company as awesome as you.

I think the game is using TvC assets (polygons) ported over to MT Framework engine, obviously everything upgraded to HD and maybe a bit more detail. This way Capcom will have already made the 14 Capcom characters from TvC without any effort. To people thinking this will look as good as SF4, I really doubt it. SF4 characters are highly detailed and animated, which would take a long time. I think Capcom are looking to have a huge roster (around 40 at the least) and low detail and animated TvC models are quick and easy to make.

I made a mess in my pants :(

CAPGOD deliver again. No doubt in my mind that they are the absoloute fucking stars of this console generation. Nobody else even comes close.

:(

I won't be hype until I see any DMC or Megaman Zero character in the game, its about time they appear in a Capcom Fighting Game.

NOTE: (I know Megaman Zero appeared in SvC:Chaos and I loved it, that is why I said CAPCOM Fighting Game).

I concur with this. Plus, like I said, they already have the previous MvC movelists to work off of. I don't see that as a bad thing. TvC + HD is a winning combination in my book.

If that trailer was real-time, then sweet. The comic book-ish shading they are using is awesome.

edit: oh man some people are arguing that the game uses TvC models? Do I need to whip up comparisons pics between Morrigan in the MVC3 trailer and TVC? :lol

YES!!! Awesome teaser.

MT Framework!!! :0
fingers crossed, doesn't matter though, picking it up no matter what

why would they use MT framework instead of the SF4 engine? TvC looked pretty meh compared to sf4 and i couldnt imagine a hulked up version of TvC would be all that pretty.
