I just care if they capture the spirit of the character, not worrying about making every move based exactly on something in canon.

Agreed. Seriously, it's not that hard to give him a pair of leg and movement. I hope he shows up in MvsC 3. He might not be as popular as Chris or Dante but he is still a popular character from an actual franchise. It would be akward to have Megaman, Strider, Onimusha or BoF characters and no Phoenix. We haven't seen Onimusha, BoF and Strider for a while and the AA is still popular/recent in the west.

I too enjoy Shinkiro's art, but I would love it if they did a CvS2 thing and had a Marvel artist work on some in game stuff too.

Well I have to wonder what that artwork in the teaser is for (on that "staff screen", it shows what looks like a comic panel featuring Morrigan in the background.

Checked out the poll. Really lame that they took two polls and merged them into one. I thought I'd vote for Roll because I love her TvC incarnation, but she definitely sucked in MvC. I ended up voting for Rogue. Love the character, and would love to see her return Power Drain intact. In fact, thinking about it, with how she's no longer the buff, flying Super Girl she was the time MvC came out, completely re-do the character revolving around her Power Drain. It would be FAR easier to program her to have everyone's moves with 3D models than 2D sprites

If Hiryu isn't in it, I think my heart will be broken. I was really surprised to find him missing from the Tatsunoko VS Capcom roster. Here's hoping Capcom has some magic in the remaining cast.

I'd love to see Phoenix Wright, Jedah, Lieutenant Henry, Trojan, Ed Falcon, John Talbain, Arthur, Shoma, Gene, and some Megaman villain like Wily summoning a ton of robots or some jazz. On the Marvel side? Punisher, Nova, Kingpin, Cannonball, Venom, Morbius, Iceman, Agent-X, Daredevil, Nightcrawler, Moon Knight, Beast, and some monstrous thing like a Sentinel.

Poison has a lot of momentum in fan support right now and I think Capcom is just looking for a way to include him in a game. MvC3 would be the perfect opportunity.
