His website says he'll be back July 27th. A forum post elsewhere says he was banned for calling out Amir0x here. Probably bumping an ancient thread didn't help either.

bjork just "retired." He posted in the manga thread he was leaving and it was his last post. I tend to doubt it, but you never know.

Yeah, he stole a swedish woman's pictures, including pictures of her cat. The woman whose pictures were stolen was invited here, and everyone had a good laugh.

That other poster, bjork, was pretty sad in his steadfast defense of serafakia/verboten.

Yah one of my " Neo buddies" was telling me this, it happened way before I joined. Apparently some guy hacked GAF and banned a lot of the members. ( Not sure whether the story is true or not)

Btw I will take this opportunity to say love you Neo Buddies.

i think that was some dude based in Australia called Grubdog

story goes he guessed or found an admin's password, logged in under their account and run amok.

not really hacking, but the result is the same.

I think I mention this in every thread of this nature, but there was/is a mod (or maybe administrator) whose name always seems to escape me, that used to just do weird and funny shit every so often and get banned. One time he changed all the thread titles on the first page of gaming gaf to something about nintendogs, I believe he posted a ton of fucked up porn once, and a few others things. I believe another mod talked about it a while back in a thread similar to this one and there were even pics of some of his shenanigans. Wish I had saved them.

Does she even post here anymore? I used to see her posts all the time in OT when I was a lurker and a junior in OT but it seems like she disappeared. My interpretation of the ban of that guy was that he was basically attacking her for what he thought was attention whoring, but she was actually a quality poster who just happened to be attractive with a giant Manga/game collection and bi-polar disorder. I never really conversed with her, but I remember her posting in a thread sometime before that ban incident something about picking up and moving with her boyfriend to the middle of nowhere only to see him break it off with her after she had basically completely moved to another state with him and she was stranded there. Being that she had some serious depression issues, I was always worried what happened to her, because it seemed like she fell off the face of GAF.

Himuro pointed something ("the look at my tits" part) that was obvious, but no one had the balls to do it. Maybe that's why she doesn't post anymore.
In a nutshell, it had nothing to do about the "quality" of Koshiba's posts.

then suddenly, 3/4 of the way through, gabron is on the scene and they join forces

in the end, risky chris is banned and gabron is left to carry on the fight alone

Trigger happy is an understatement. She went from being the necessary (and only occasionally over-reactive) female voice for rooting out the extremely inappropriate comments about women...to just swinging the ban hammer at anyone who so much as mentioned the female gender in their post. She turned into a godawful mod and the site is better without her. Miss Red Scarlet though.

Nope, grandjedi6's amazing memory outs Wii Will Rock U as the creator, which explained why he was so passionate about it and posted threads. Eventually he realizes that what he did is worth a perma, and literally BEGS for his account while everyone makes fun of him. His hubris led to his downfall, it's like a Greek tragedy (but more hilarious).

God, I watched this unfold as a lurker and it was hilarious. I actually met him at E3 last year. He introduces himself as Professor Layton. I'm not even joking.

Haha, I remember that. Some guy made a thread titled Check out these pictures of some nice "breasts" and all of the pictures in his OP were of baked chicken breasts. Very clever.

So I immediately started a thread titled Check out these pictures of nice "pussies" and I posted a bunch of pictures of vaginas that I found on google image search and got banned for a week.

RiskyChris had good intentions and a very good point to make with that thread, but he kinda took the weight of the world on his shoulders and wasn't dealing with it very well.

Really? Maybe I didn't follow her posts enough, but it seemed to me that people would be like "in before Dragona" if something could possibly be the source of a gender debate even though most of the time she would never even enter the thread, or would behave normally if she did.

Now, maybe people acted like this because she used to be like that, but for, say, her last year here she didn't sound like some kind of extreme feminist at all. It always seemed to me that people were acting like that because she was the only/most prominent female mod at that point.

She was definitely an activist for lefties though. See all the fuss about single-analog no handhelds and lack of reversed control schemes on Wii games. Not that she was wrong, mind you (I speak as a rightie).

Well, actually the rules were pretty clear and gaf didn't give a fuck about them. So she had to enforce the rules. I guess she started to get angrier and angrier seeing that nobody gave a fuck even after she cleaned up the place. Thus ending into her resignation.
