Me personally speaking, and perhaps others with a greater sense of self awareness, find such slacktivism to be full of shit and reeks of virtue signalling.

Because ultimately, that's what it comes down to. Using kid's products to express how "sorry" you feel for WW2 victims when I bet most of them never even did any real research on the subject or contributed to a charity in any way.

I've seen people positively discuss both DQ, Persona and XC2 on Ree, so I don't know where people are getting that you'd get banned or called out for liking any of those.

Well someone else can fill me in because I didn't make that claim.

Posts that use actual brainpower are banned. But posts that are just rambling or screaming expletives are moved to the front. It's almost like Resetera only wants to foster users who have the attention span of an ant.

Well, there's a difference between (1) liking a game (for whatever reasons) and (2) liking a game explicity
