And I said it's fine if you don't want to support the guy.Sugiyama is both very famous, wealthy and influential. He wields an order of magnitude more power and influence than some random piss poor Japanese youngster.
Random Japanese youngster is not endowed to run full-page warcrime denial ads in Washington Post.
And boycotting wasn't even the argument - the argument was that there are valid reasons not to "support the guy".
Me personally speaking, and perhaps others with a greater sense of self awareness, find such slacktivism to be full of shit and reeks of virtue signalling.
Because ultimately, that's what it comes down to. Using kid's products to express how "sorry" you feel for WW2 victims when I bet most of them never even did any real research on the subject or contributed to a charity in any way.

Luis Pereira - I think everybody knows why some people are so eager to criticize this game. Ideology sucks. You can easily see this by looking at the first topic OP choose to criticize.
And I'm not taking up the position that Ree doesn't allow any positive discussion at all. But it sure is heavily censored and mod controlled so it fits within their definition of what's ok and what's not.
For example, they once labeled anyone who supported the game Kingdom Come as racist, including the main developer behind it. It wasn't until the main developer brought up on twitter about pressing for libel charges did they slowly move away from pushing that angle.
