Imagine playing Battlefront 3 on it! Or any Star Wars game for that matter. It just works! They should release a white PS4 bundle with some SW game. Call it a Storm Trooper PS4 and they wouldn't even have to do anything cosmetically other than make it white.

Can't wait to get my hands on a couple of spare DS4's ... Soon get them painted up in the oldschool PS1 grey colour and see what the go for on ebay!

All this talk about special-coloured PS4 and controllers reminds me about how wonderful the console is design-wise : PS2-era like flatness (so I can put a Wii U on top) and straight edges. It makes me want to put skins (like the ones you could find for PSX or X360). It can look tacky as hell, but I always found some I liked.

since they've been appealing with nostalgia lately, i'd like to see that colorway sooner than later

I don't usually care about getting different colored controllers, but I would buy this thing day one.
interested to see what a matte blackout one wold look like (w/ black face buttons, no shapes) since that's what I usually do to my controllers.
