There is something of a theory about it. That certain devices can record more than just what they are suppost to. I've had tapes do this to me a lot. I had opened a audio tape brand new and put it in. And instead of pressing record pressed play. The sound you usually here wasnt there at all it was clear... then i heard something really loud and then the tape fast forwarded (like the counter actually was speeding up) and then it just stoped like it got to the end of the tape. Thing is.... the tape was only half way done. I pressed play and all i heard was a loud pitched UUURRRRRRAAAAGGGHHH for a good few minutes... then the crackling started. Thats when i rewinded the tape, and threw it away. Someone died in my house some years ago and only i could assume after watching this video tape from a friend a few years ago about projecting images into things. It freaked me out then it freaks me out now. And i hope that tapes stays far away. I see dark figures in my tv screen sometimes when i'm sitting looking at my monitor. I dont like to notice that they are there but its right in the place where this person died in my room.

And that narative ruined the eriee factor.

Nooo... haha Don't make me retell my molesting ghost story!!!

Anyway, I see this trailer quite a while ago -- if those tapes in the beginning are real, I'm officially creeped out. What creeps me out more is the thought of whate else could be communicating through the same medium. *_*

Dude, that's creepy. There was one time I was watching TV, talking to my friend on the phone, and this commercial with a baby eating spaghetti came on. I swear, I was just watching TV when my friend was yapping about something and the TV froze for a second when the baby mouthed in this strange demonic voice "ADAM!!", and continued on with the commercial.

That scared the f*ck out of me.

Now if this doesnt freak you out more then i dont know what will. I moved my computer into my room in 2002. I started to get this freaky and i do mean godly LOUD freaky noise out of my headphones from my computer from time to time. Only through my head phones this would happen. I thought interferance. So i bought a new pair of headphones. Then replaced my sound card. Then built a new computer (not using any previous parts) and it still happened. IT would last hours so i would unplug my phones from it. Well i thought i had gotten over this with my new computer i built not to long ago but no. Its back and i mean this is so freaky i wish i could capture it or something. But its really freaked me out.

This room has a doorway to hell in it i know it.

Dude, the next time you see the ghost, just whip out your dong and start pinching one out. The ghost will get all weirded out and hightail it the fuck out of there. I'm absolutly positive that this is why I've never seen a ghost.

LOL

When I had dial-up, my connection would freeze all the time. I really thought nothing of it until I started regularly checking my connection log to see if it was frozen... practically every time it froze there'd be somehow be 666 in the numbers like:

Bytes Recieved: 35,666 or 66,616 or 126,6642 and so on and so forth.

I started to get freaked out and began showing my friends what would happen when it froze. They were startled when they realized I wasn't joking. It continued on for a bout agood 3 - 4 months, and has since stopped. But imagine having at least 4-5 frozen connections per week, and each one freezing at some instance of 666.

I'm actually surprised EVP is actually being implemented within a movie, although this looks like it totally rips out it's core and glosses it over with horror themes.

Read quite a lot of source material about the subject and it is pretty freaky, but in the same light it also helps understand the possibility of life after death.

It's true that images of a ghost spirit will be "burnt" onto a TV or monitor at times. Regarding all these transmitters, it's quite hard to pinpoint what is in fact noise or your senses totally warping it into believing somethiong that never happened.

There's also another theory to this.. the fact that somewhere out there, there are tapes full of a certain group's recordings who many were psychics and contacted certain ghosts, best part about this was when a certain spirit would tell too much information.. then suddenly "black out" of the convo, picking it up moments later simply stating "I cannot see/talk to you no more". Even times when talking to a woman and then suddenly a man with a bellowing voice would say "no more". I guess the truth though is that if these tapes were let loose, religions would collapse.

Best one is when I listened to some really freaky voice that said he wasn't human and he couldn't exactly define what he was. His voice was very very scary.

Further investigation of the audio files:

http://www.aaevp.com/examples/examples_voice.htm

Has led me to believe this is total fucking bullshit. Money says they were recording over used tapes. You'd have to REALLY stretch things to make a voice out of any that noise. My favorite is the one with the "singing voice". I actually laughed at that one.

That would make senese only if they weren't getting replies while asking questions. There's a section where they say "What is your name", and you can hear, "Jason". If it was pre-recorded, then that's a pretty high coincedence that:

a) The tape was reused and that the previous owner happened to record his name for some instance and

b) That she happened to ask a relevent question that would match the pre-recorded response just before the name was uttered.

The only thing that would debunk this claim would be the idea that the entire thing was staged, but if you consider the idea that these were just re-used tapes that 'by chance' had information on it that correlated to the questions asked to the entity, then it's pretty unlikely in that regard as well. Did you go through the whole site?

I just checked through the list of samples that they have, and some of them are pretty unintelligible. There are samples that are fairly clear, though, and you can't attribute it to background noise or interference.

No, I didn't go through the whole site. I listened to all the audio on the first two before I decided it was just shit. The replies are just too often unrelated. The one that seems most like a used tape to me is the second one. I'll listen to the rest of the audio, but I still claim

lol Fair enough, but I don't see what's so different about this versus those Alien conspiracies.

Ok, I lisened to all the examples. The only one that really sounds like a voice has been enhanced, and it says as much. These people need some more productive hobbies.

I checked out the photography, too. That's a lot funnier than the audio. There's sort of a face in a backdrop painted with blue swirls all over it and they claim it's a ghost.

The ectoplasm shots are extremely funny. Especially the one where he has some sort of glob formed over his right shoulder and what looks to be tissue paper coming out of his ears :)

Concerning the alien stuff, I was under the impression that you believed all of those conspiracies at Dulce and Denver, Colorado :)

Just curious, but is that a real site? Seemed like one of those fake promotional sites that are pretty common these days.

It's best to google EVP or something silly like "psychics record ghosts". There are a lot more better sites that I had visited a few years ago and seemed more credible than the site that's on the trailer.

The weirdest thing about my discovery was a book that I had picked up in my mothers's room. It seemed pretty old and dusty and she only ever reads stuff by Stephen King, but I dragged it down into my room and read it all that night and remember putting it back into her room. For years I've tried looking for it to read again but I can't find it at all, so I've just related it to some missing conspiracy thing :D
