Nope and wasn't after one thankfully, just a normal one. But I believe the limited edition probably contributed to the massive delays I had getting hold of the normal one. Not sure I'd go through the pre order process again tbh.
 
I was paused in the queue since 9:15. Once it was about 10:06 it put me through and I ordered the 30th anniversary Pro bundle with no issues. I'm 100% keeping it. I don't care what it's going for on EBay.
 
It was pretty easy to get one. You just log in about 2 hours early when the queue is low and then keep your session alive by clicking on different products and surfing around on the site. If you lapse for more than a minute or two it times your session out and you got to start all over again, so you gotta be active. Once the time came, the ps5 pro 30 anni showed up and I was able to order it without any problems or hassle. I tried joining PS direct on a different browser and at some point just for giggles, I could see about an hour or maybe 30 minutes before the sale started the queue was paused, probably from too much demand. Early bird gets the worm I guess.

Base Pro only for me sadly. I was in the que early(got in the store a few hours before 7) but fell asleep lol. Ah well. Nice to see the overall bundle wasn't priced too unreasonably.

I don't see the improvements to be quite honest with you yes the components are new, but it doesn't take a radio shack employee to market or explain the ps5 pro to you, if you have the eye test that says it all

I did end up getting one of those with my PS5 Pro order, hopefully they will at least release plates with the anniversary color, it won't be exact but it is better than white!
 
My collectors side wanted the 30th bundle, but that didn't happen. If it's the base pro, I'll wait. The reason: I'm using a 27" 1080p 60fps monitor. I need to drop some cash on a new monitor to even take advantage of the pro

If you get a Pro you can probably get a decent 4k 120 monitor or TV for a good price on or around black Friday and be in the same ballpark as the 30th bundle.
 
I ended up getting one. I was talking to my daughter about it and now we are wondering if my granddaughter is going to want it for Christmas. I am going to pretend we did not have that conversation and see how it goes. 🙉🙊🙈

Figure something will be dropped down a bit around November. I don't see the PS6 going over 4K/120 so it should be a solid monitor for another 5-7 years

Oh fuck yeah,I don't think it was a contributing factor, it was the entire reason for the massive delays.

Which brainiac at Sony thought it was a good idea to have both of these preorder at the same exact time?
 
I got in relatively quick but it was already sold out unfortunately.

I did however get a regular Pro, 30th Anniversary Edge, 3x 30th Anniversary Dualsense, and went ahead and grabbed the PSVR2 adapter.

This way if you waited in line for the 30th model and it was already sold out you could order a regular pro instead. Or how I settled for the controller.
 
Nope. Was sold out by the time I got in, but I wanted the regular one anyway as everything in my set up is either black (TV, TV stand, XSX) or white (PS5, Switch OLED and dock, modem and router etc.).
 
The Anniversary Edition will be devalued as soon as you unbox it...

If you did score one, in truth you'd be better off selling it 'mint in box' and using the profit to buy a regular Pro to actually use.
 
just looked around, I don't think the anniversary edition is on sale in my country at all. I'd love to grab that dual sense edge but no idea how atm.

About the console, like some other users I keep my consoles in a machine room behind the tv so I'm good with regular Pro.
 
I whiffed on the 30th anniversary Pro so I just decided to wait on upgrading entirely. If GameStop offers a good trade in for the OG PS5 Digital Edition, I'll upgrade at whatever that difference is. I can wait it out a little longer.

They've got an extra 10% store credit this week with Pro. So it works out to I think $360 - $25 for pro if you don't already have it.
 
Unfortunately not available for pre order in Canada (the 30th anniversary edition). This bundle would absolutely tempt me.

Regular pro is available for pre order fine.
