Who here is a millionaire?

Net worth or a million in the bank?
Generally net worth is the barometer of being a millionaire. I'd wager that there are plenty of people in this world that are technically millionaires without realizing it when it considering the value of their homes.

I'll probably hit it in the next few years.

Yes, but it's quite literally money being set aside to ensure my kids have a good college education and then of course retirement. We live like we are middle class - we don't have a brand new car, it's a 2014 model. We don't have a big house - it's around 2500 sq ft and valued at $195,000 and hardly any land (less than an acre). I have a pretty beefy computer and gaming laptop, primarily because I need the powerhouse to do the work I do. I have an iPhone 7+ and my wife has an iPhone XR.

The most we really splurge on are games, books, and some travel. We don't go out of the country either. Though, we are planning a trip to Japan.

I mean honestly, we've got all this money but we are pretty average people. We don't need much to make us happy.

I'm literally -$25,000.

I know Sony will come and help pay off my debt, one day đź’™

In all seriousness, any millionaire here should not be saying he or she is because of the danger of the Evil Eye.

I didn't take you to be a superstitious type, MHK. Don't let such things hold power over you because sooner or later, they do and hamper your way of life by not letting you live freely.

Not even closely, but on the other hand, I have 0 debt, so I got that going for me, wich is nice.

Top tip here folks.

Once my debt was gone my accumulation of money became very rapid to the point of its now just piling up a la Scrooge McDuck.

Don't get into credit card debt, kids, it's a fucking racketeering game.

I predict I'll be a millionaire in about 5-6 years. I'm hoping to have about $20 million, maybe more, by the time I retire. But life is unpredictable so we'll see.

I genuinely believe in the Evil Eye but I don't believe it has its own power, do you get me?

Being a millionaire is more of mindset than anything else. I know people who make $100,000 a year, and could have been a millionaire in 15 years (have to account for taxes and bills, so it's not 10 years). But they have only $100 in their bank account and would lose everything if they got fired from their job. If you are not in the right mindset, then having a million dollars still want help you. You have to fix YOU. Just look at all the fail stories of lottery winners.

They just spend everything they have in a rush of excitment and some of them are even happy to be poor again.

They dont know how to manage money and how to save money.

I enjoy Alux.com a lot to get inspired
