I like to joke on here that I'm a whore but I've been loyal to my boi for three years, and it's gonna stay that way. I have no desire to get fucked by anyone else, and he has no desire to fuck anyone else. We're perfectly content with each other.

With that said, however, if people want to fuck other people that isn't their spouse/partner/etc. let 'em. I don't give a shit. It was a one off thing. Like let's try out our fantasy's if they aren't too extreme. I can understand why some people would consider it crazy but it wasn't all that crazy. I don't think my Mrs is against another woman joining us just what I want to happen between them 😉 which I can understand as I wasn't down for touching the other guy. Besides what would my Mrs do whilst I'm railing another bird at least I could join in with the MMF.

It took a long time as it took me a while to be comfortable with the idea and then finding a guy as I didn't want any one we knew joining us, so we just found someone on the internet and met up socially a few times and laid out the ground rules. Honestly it was more hassle than what it is worth I found. We didn't fall out or anything afterwards there was some talk about differences but he looked smaller than I was something I counted on 😉 it was an experience but we won't be doing it again, which my Mrs is ok with.

If you are ever in a similar position then just buy a dildo it doesn't make that much difference.

Not something I could ever be comfortable doing but if it didn't affect your relationship and you guys are happy that's all that matters I suppose. I'll be honest, if my wife made a request like this I'd probably just start getting the paperwork ready for divorce. I personally believe we'd be heading that way anyway.

Buddy this has been a thing since the beginning of time. Polygamy has been around since cavemen, what has changed though, is our sense of morality.

For me personally and I want to make this is that I wouldn't do it. But that being said, I understand why people who do it, do it. They know damn well they can't be loyal to a single person and some people are like that and I'd like to think we should be happy that people like this aren't getting into monogamous relationships and cheating on their partner and devastating someones sense of trust.

Depends really, I've seen situations where they enjoy the intimate companionship more than they want sex. I saw one guy pretty much be a glorified body pillow for someone because said husband would travel for work for months on end and there wasn't any sex involved.

Not necessarily. You'd still might have to deal with emotional imbalances such as guilt, fear, shame between the parties in the relationship after the act.

Until you've experienced something you won't know how it'll affect you.

We are often taught that polygamy is bad for us, which reinforces our own moral code and feelings towards it.

Fear of getting pregnant or catching an STI doesn't really factor into this as much as the emotional turmoil over making such a decision and then living with it.

I think it might be similar to the shame and guilt gay men and women can feel, living on a society that has for so long told them that there's something wrong with them.

I'm neither for or against swinging, it's a personal choice. It's not something I have done or something I want to do but people are and should be free to make their own decisions in life but realising that there are always consequences.

If you're in a relationship where it naturally occurs at some point that going to swinger parties, or polygamy or whatever might be a good idea, and you go ahead and actually do it, then there's "emotional imbalances" present from the start, that's not a "sane", "balanced" relationship to begin with.
